Congrats on the new machine! The 80 class machines are a great size. Good blend of power and compactness.

Sweet machine! Can't wait to see more of it. And loading/unloading is a trip to see on film and in person. Glad you got the truck all set up and can haul the dozer or the 80 as the need arises.

Boy! That looks like a beast of a machine! Happy for you! More digging power means you will get the jobs done faster! Now all you need is to get an angle bucket for doing sloped grading work! I hear the Werk Brau folks have one!

Thank you. Yes, I can see the tilt bucket being useful on the 80. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful evening 😀

Epic! By the looks of it, you'd think the dirt is loosely packed top soil. So cool how easy its digging if the 040 barely could.

The 80 did make the digging look easy.

Nice machine we have a couple KX 80s one is called a super double boom great machines, also watching you load that steel track machine on steel ramps ! Easy does it !!!
@jeramyreberpuredirt78735 күн бұрын
@vincecheney2017 I have really enjoyed having the 80. It is definitely working well for what I wanted it for. They cleats on the ramps grab the steel tracks quite well. It's not as scary as people think. I have loaded the dozer on that truck many many times. Thank you for watching, and have a wonderful day 😀

Nice to see what you go through in loading/unloading. So now you have the enjoyment of moving lots of material farther and faster. I am sure the 6 way will be missed but each machine will have their strengths.

That “young lady” there at the site, filming, can probably provide you with a still photo of the KX-080 on the truck. Will you miss the 6-way blade being on this unit..? Great video, Thank you sir.

Join a chain between the two ramps. Then you can do two ramps at once without needing help or to get out of the machine.

How may hours are on your kx040 rig now?
@jeramyreberpuredirt78739 ай бұрын
1900hrs. About ready for the 2000hr service.
@slamsshenanigans22969 ай бұрын
Way better than the first time and even though you say the ramps are heavy…they don’t look like they are going to last with the 080. No doubt heavy to lift without assist springs but I’d hate to see them break on you at an inopportune time.

Our dozer weighs the same and they have held up for many years. And yes, much better than the first time. Have a wonderful day 😀

How is the swing power on the 80? My next mini/mid is going to have a tiltrotator setup and the 40 (IMO) just doesn't have enough swing power to really be effective.
@jeramyreberpuredirt78734 ай бұрын
@SovaKlr impaired to the 40 it has noticeably more. But I haven't ran other 8 ton machines to have a comparison. Hope this was helpful. Thanks for watching.

80 doesnt have a 6way only 4way blade?

Yes, no 6 way. The 40 is the only machine Kubota offers it on. Have a wonderful evening 😀

Hello. Do you find the thumb sets the machine off balance, makes it a bit front heavy. Thanks, stay safe.
@jeramyreberpuredirt78739 ай бұрын
I have the extra counterweight, so that helps offset it. But I have never run an 80 without a thumb, so I have nothing to compare it to. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful weekend 😀

I know you probably answered this before. Why do you rather the metal over the rubber tracks?
@jeramyreberpuredirt78739 ай бұрын
They get better traction, last much longer, and give better stability and flotation. And yes, the is the question I get asked the most. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful evening 😀
