The NPC's will have more interaction options beyond the dialogues once the system has been developed a bit further. For example: You will be able to buy things from Ayrie and find out more about Artax's secret ingredients. Btw Play Dead + Poke is also a very good emote combo. :)

you long press V then a circle will pop up. Then move your mouse to the left :) It looks like little grabby hands

What's the bipedal creature

The small creature that walks upright? That is a playable species called the Ka-shai (I think that is how you spell it) They are the little crafters in the lore :)
