Raptors and OG fan here. OG is a lockdown defender. Pay attention to who OG defends and how much points they score. He is very sturdy guy and it's difficult for scorers to bully him. OG + Hartenstien means the Knicks will no longer be bullied in the paint and by superstar scorers. Though he is not scoring much right now, he will as he gets more comfortable. He is patient and seeks high % opportunities to score. Good on the Knicks for acquiring OG.

Good video but vastly underestimated Hartenstien. He has been incredible - very strong defense, rebounding, passing out of the pinch post and scoring. Dude is gonna get paid in the off season.

The Knicks should keep this core roster as it is. They are in great shape. They don't need to trade for anyone else unless they can get D Murray from the Hawks or Andre Drummond from Chicago. And to get those players they should only make a trade if they can only give up Fournier, M Robinson and draft picks. Randle, Brunson, OG, Hartenstein, and Hart should be untouchables.

an underrated part of the trade in terms of its impact on the NBA in general is that it makes ppl better basketball watchers if they're willing to tune in and see why this works so well (views up for the NBA there lol). I think a lot of ppl look at the ppg stat for example in isolation and either don't look at or don't understand player skillset, team fit, team needs, team goals, the flow of offense and defense, etc. Whoever is looking to get a better understanding of why this trade works so well will be better for it with their basketball knowledge as well
