@@kjjr3270 i’ll be honest on paper. I think we should be favored over Boston better defensively probably much better rebounding wise now three-point shooting theoretically we should be but that’s the one area that I’m not so sure of yet Boston should be favored just because of the defending champions, but I see no reason why at least on paper why Oklahoma City couldn’t beat them we fixed our only two holes

As a spurs fan idc about Minnesota, Denver, Dallas…. OKC is the real threat, now and long term in the west…. Their future picks, Shei as an MVP candidate, and their stacked team (including their recent pickups this offseason) …. Teams in the west have to really think about how they’re handling their future cause OKC is gonna be a Monster for years to come…. I believe the spurs are up for the challenge eventually especially with our draft picks for the 25 draft but we really have to be carful if we wanna compete with OKC long term.

Great insights into the on court value of both these high impact "role players." Caruso does indeed make plays that don't loom large in the box score but win ball games. On winning teams such as Okc where detail counts? Yup. Down the stretch, in the clutch. Bulls were the winningest team in clutch time last season. Two reasons. DeMar and AC. That doesn't happen without one or the other. Alex does "the little things that count." Now when he does them it'll actually mean something bigger.
@mattnoonan65195 ай бұрын
Imagine the first 2 subbed off are Chet and Dort only for AC & iHart to check in. Jdub is gonna FEAST with iHart’s screens. The rest of the league is gonna have to faces the fact that the #1 team in the west upgraded their 2 weakest links, Josh and Hayward, with 2 incredible defenders… in the draft why got one of the top 5 players in the draft by selecting Topić, and they didn’t give up any 1st round picks throughout this whole offseason. Incredible.
@verward5 ай бұрын
The fact they gave up 0 first rounders for AC absolutely blows my mind. If they had given up 2 picks, everyone would have accepted that as an obvious price and good deal for OKC. I'm pretty sure even 3 picks would have been accepted by most fans.
@mattnoonan65195 ай бұрын
@@verward I thought Josh plus 2 second rounders would’ve been pretty good… but at the same time, I think the Bulls knew Josh had the potential to ball out at the Olympics, which would’ve made Sam’s asking price steeper. I thought that if the didn’t move him before the draft, they would after the Olympics. I hope Josh balls out for the Bulls.

Big day, 6 man with an OKC vid :). As a German fan, I am ofc super excited by the additions to the team. Hartenstein especially will look like a beast dishing out assists to all the smart cutters we already have. An amszing fit, who won't take away too many shots of the star trio and who fills all the gaps we had last year. I also think is touch is underrated, + he used to be able to shoot a little bit. If he gets fully unlocked and the social fit with the young group is great, I truly believe that these acquisitions can get us over the hump in the West (although I would never count out Jokic). Will miss Josh in OKC, but it just wasn't meant to work out. The situation here was unfortunate for him here, still rooting for him and believing in his all star potential...
