The New Mark II TBS Timberwolf

The new Mark II TBS Timberwolf Knife is the latest addition to the brilliant TBS range and it shows the continual evolution of the brand. This knife is going to be offered in 2 different steels, 2 different grinds and 3 different handle variants.
The TBS Timberwolf Bushcraft Knife will be made in Carbon Steel with a Scandi Grind and will feature Curly Birch, Turkish Walnut or Black Micarta Handles.
The TBS Timberwolf Camp Knife will be made in Stainless Steel with a Hollow Grind and will feature Curly Birch, Turkish Walnut or Black Micarta Handles.
We filmed this during the Coronavirus lockdown at the back of our closed High Street Store so, for obvious reasons, we couldn’t show any real World demonstrations of the knife as we are not in the business of ignoring the rules just to get publicity.
This video doesn’t have a zany costumes, shouting and screaming or showing off it is just a cool & calm explanation of the progression of a knife design.

Bought the carbon steel one with the best sheath. Removed the sharpener section and turned the straps around so the studs are at the front. Looks amazing! Great knife 🔪

It would be good if you did a flat grind more robust than hollow grind - I find hollow grinds chip easily especially if batoning. While my TimberWolf Scandi grind is very steep and bites deeply when feather sticking. Not ideal. A flat grind would be better.

UK Preppers Guide They start at £110 for a knife with our standard sheath and increase depending on the options you add. Is the Timber wolf designed as an improvement on the Boar? They seem very similar in terms of dimensions and function.

J W S The Carbon steel variant is very similar to the Boar as it has a scandi grind. The stainless steel version is the one that is quite different because it features a hollow grind. The Boar is a very popular knife and we wanted to offer an alternative to it that has some different features. We will continue to develop the TBS range and progress other models to offer alternatives
