@romantheroman98 Nope you have to three tap a light perfectly hitting all pellets or else youre toast stuck reloading while they melt you in .01 seconds and the reload takes forever even though it should be JUST AS FAST as the double barrel. Both light and heavy have heavy hitting 1-3 tap weapons or guns with endless ammo and have ways to close the distance without needing to place something down on an angle like the jump pad( zipline is useless). The heavy gets lmgs, shields and multiple ways to breach walls without needing to spec it. The lights get the m11 which the light can reload in .00001 seconds making is seem endless or endless throwing knives that do insane damage or one hit dagger... and ways to get in and out of the fight super fast making a good light untouchable, the list goes on. Medium gets what exactly? A defib? Cool remove it from the game no one wants to be healing and rezzing anyways.. its like medium players are forced to be mercy mains to carry the team on their back but have no way to defend themselves in a 1v1 situation. Its either stick to the heavy or die. Theres a reason there are rarely any team wipe clips from mediums its only heavy and light who get those. The one weapon that hits hard for medium is the model and its close range and easy to counter. How fun.

@@s2wuolf508 why invalidate it? You're handing away 1/3rd of your mag to set goo on fire, you're barely killing a med with what's left of your mag. Seems like a fair trade off.

I agree, setting goo on fire wouldn't be gamebreaking or anything, and as for what I said about "setting any surface on fire", I'd be fine if it lasted for just a few seconds or less.

I would be concerned if they nerfed it agian, shotguns should be dominant in close range. buffing the ars to make the meta less model centric would be amazing ( coming from a fcar main 😢 )

since the fire is what makes it unique they should drop off damage and increase the fire damage and instead of having the reload like a sawed off they should use like a rotating type of reload and the and have the fire not stack but instead add extra sec of fire like if i hit you once ur on fire for 2-3 sec and that would be 6-9 sec on fire if you hit all three shots

honest thoughts after playing a few hours. awful. worst gun in the medium and definitely a top 3 worst guns in the game. the pellets shoot in a bizarre star pattern extremely far from each other, to the point the gun struggles really really hard to kill anyone 10+ meters because of spread. if you hit a considerable amount of pelletes (definitely more than half of them) you might burn the person for 2 or 3 ticks of pathetic fire damage. i am going to be extremely surprised if the burn can even reach 25 damage. as it is now. its extremely redundant. a shotgun with a small ammo capacity, that only works at kissing distance . that rewards you with a small DOT. if you nail them dead center. but then again when you shoot people this close normally the shot itself will deal damage to kill so whats even the point of burning? embark needs to tighten the ridiculous spread of the pellets and diminish the amount you need to hit to cause fire. then this gun might be usable its extremely sad cuz, i love the gun itself, the fire particles, the sound design, it feels awesome to handle the gun. i want to love this gun, i want to like it so bad but then i shoot someone 7 steps away from me and i see all my pellets going past the person and hitting walls in the middle of nowhere. its so frustrating it genuinely makes me sad, to the point that, i want embark to unrealese this season and launch it again when gun is fixed. the gun cant eve light goo, it literally shows it burning goo in the trailer for the season, i am genuinely wandering if embark messed up and gave us a testing build for the gun because its simply not possible any person can play with this and say "yeah this gun is good, people will want to download the game to play with it"

How are we feeling about this shotgun? Me personally im not altogether impressed, especially on Medium since its competing with the Model. Idk, maybe I'm wrong, but it doesnt seem like it'll shake up the Medium loadout meta all that much unless gas becomes a real problem.
