In Europe we get this as a diesel PHEV. C300de. Honestly seems like the perfect buy for this type of car. 120km electric range (70+miles) and a super efficient diesel engine for long trips plus 60kw fastcharging. I really enjoy these ICE reviews AND out of spec EV stuff so keep it up!

If Mercedes brought a C/E class PHEV to Canada I would buy one in a heartbeat. Sadly they only have mild hybrid or full electric. PHEV rules up here in the Canadian prairies, EV for all daily driving and gas for road trips. Perfect!

I think hybrids (standard, non plugin) will still dominate for years to come. Many, MANY people live in apartments, etc where they simply don't have access to charging and being married to a DC fast charger is an absolute pain.

Next year, the C-Class EV will debut. I have high hopes, it will be a propper, from ground up designed EV, verry efficient (much input from eqxx) and comes also as a vagon/shooting-brake. Rumours say it'll start in the 40's. Maby the car of the year 2024?!

I personally despise this car. Drives like a Toyota I would say a new crv drives better than this 75k car 🤦‍♂️. The interior is nice but the screens are very annoying and distracting but I gotta say their features are nice but almost everything else is just very mid!
