The thing is, if frogs don't eat fireflies, then fireflies need some other purpose. if not, they're just another bat except bad for performance since you need way more of them for it to look right. Or a particle which could work, but it'd be a bit weird to have an animal just be a particle. Maybe they finally found a new use for them and that's why they'll add them?

I dunno about you guys, but I think the pig emoji just means the pig mob itself is getting a new feature/an entire revamp. It’s the only real-world passive old mob that has no use other than food, which goes against MC’s modern design laws (cow can be milked, chickens with feathers and eggs, sheeps with wool, etc.)

Ender warthogs are part of Better End mod where they act like the ravangers of the End. Imo warthogs being like ravangers would be more likely to be implemented. Warthogs or freeroaming wild ravangers would be cool. Pillagers could also maybe use warthogs in raids.

I do hate Fireflies but I know mojang can fix it.. Litbug: A new bug that is same size of a bees. This mob also dazzles in the sky, leaving a light particles in areas, the more litbug - the more frogs to spawn.. Some of this Litbugs are just normal, but there is also a litbug that can explode and burn you up

This is my theory with 4 emoji teaser: Tulip - More flowers? Pink petal - Ambiance / particles falling from trees (similar to the cherry blossom and pale oak, but supported for all tree types) Sun - Graphic updates; shaders have been being worked on for bedrock for quite some time and could release later next year. Calendar - Seasons, makes sense and could be done the same way bedrock has tree leaves turn white when it snows. Overall, the update would focus on the "look" of the game and be an overworld over-hall, which some could say is well overdue for some of the older biomes.

It's probably some sort of nature overhaul if these leaks are true, which may include the farm animal varients that the devs were teasing when they added dog varients. That's what I think the pig means, and it's the best I could come up with to tie all these emojis together since they all have to do with nature. Basically it may be some of what the wild update should have been... hopefully at least.

from all the leaks ive seen plus the yellow and black colors, and also looking at how mojang has been starting to add the old mob votes, i seriously think that they might add the moobloom into the game, it has yellow and black colors, its associated with the birch biome and FLOWERS which were also teased by minecraft, and its also a spring update which would fit the season it is being released in. My guess is that it will 99% be the moobloom and biome update, probably gonna be called the “Forest of Flowers Update” or something like that.

My thoughts about fireflies.... For people playing on survival I think it would be rather rare to see them, since they're only really visible at night, and in the dark so without torches everywhere.... Youd be surrounded by enemies while looking at the fireflies. Yeah with a house and big windows you could enjoy them somewhat but for the most part I'd skip the night anyway 🙈

I think everyone is misinterpreting the emojis as meaning a seasons update. Why would it be a seasons update if it’s only using emojis related to one season (spring)? More likely that it’s a spring-themed update releasing in the spring lol (so new flowers, maybe a new biome, now fireflies and maybe a new kind of pig, maybe the muddy pig from MC Earth since it has a flower on it). A teaser for a seasons update would include things like 🍂, ❄️ etc
