Wait, an additional 7kUSD ???? Is it just cause? I was wondering why the MG mini was 12kUSD and still waiting for my answer like this is COVID times? I love Fodera but what’s these prices about Mike? I need an explanation, I will seriously buy one of these AND an mini MG if I get a decent reason for 32KUSD for two mini basses, Mike, PLEASE BRO!
@joshuacase49272 жыл бұрын
Please don’t take this the wrong way, I think Fodera rules and I’m ready to get my first one made but asking about price shouldn’t be weird should it!? I got a angry face on here from someone I asked if they were willing to pay the $19k and another one here saying those complaining about price blah blah blah. WAIT A SEC HERE! I am the FIRST person to endorse hand crafted beauty especially in instruments and I for one have already spent around $100k doing just that with some other custom basses as well as vintage basses and amps as well, BUT, this place is for comments and discussion and I’m not hating on nothing here at all, I simply have been putting to people are you willing to pay this much and am genuinely curious as to why and asking Mike about what makes them that much should NOT be an insult. If y’all were thinking of buying a Ferrari, would you balk at me for asking about the price and what makes it that expensive then? Well this is the same thing, it’s not to insult Vinnie and Fodera in any way, Mike is in charge of sales, he’s a big boy and can handle someone asking what it is that puts the price tag to almost ten a average bass prices, and y’all should be asking yourselves too! I’ve spoken with Mike recently about ordering my first custom, it’s about a 23 month wait and I’m gonna do it just cause I can, but there should in no way be a problem with putting it out there “wow, lotta cake mike! What is it that makes them that way exactly, like someone said does it come with personal lessons from Vic? Lol. And if y’all can’t play like mike or better, you shouldn’t even be looking here, yeah, mike can play but he’s not the only one, ask him!

@@nmnmnm9509 Very true story what you just said! Even FBass play as well and are made as well and are considerably cheaper but I guess people keep paying it so that will keep them charging it I guess. Kinda makes it not fair to so many people who would like them but the price is in orbit for most. Would be nice to see more of them out there! I saw just today Felix Pastorius selling a six string Emperor II for 34K, I didn't get why he felt it's worth twice what a new of the same is, I guess cause it is his or? FBass out of my home and native land Canada is so good, proprietary pick ups, killer feel and much more reasonably priced for sure! People always on here saying this shit. You’re talking about a HANDMADE instrument to his specifications by some of the top luthiers on the planet. If it’s not your flavor, that’s cool and also DUH. It’s Mike’s bass. If you can make it work with a $500 bass and you’re happy, that’s dope. But if you want a custom, one in a life time bass made by master luthiers… you’re going to pay for it. These types of comments just make you look ignorant or like a dickhead… or both.

It does not sound that great. And it's 19000.-!!! The only guys who will be playing that bass are retired guys with a huge 401K who are in the worship team on Sundays in Idaho churches for example.( Not the real gospel churches that produce all the best players in the country) Those retired guys are probably playing stuff you could just as well play on a Sire bass. But they have the money to burn.
