Very disappointed with the standard Fodera case that came with Fodera Bass - it literally fell apart within 12 months.. The latches came loose then fell right off after minimal gentle handling in our home.

I once had a 1988 Emperor 4. Ebony top and fingerboard, Mahogany body, wooden butterfly, EMG PJs. I should've never let it go!

The bridge pickup seems to be in a more "central" position compared to the usual one.. any details on the positioning?

The direct recording of this really highlights his attack and how beautiful the tone and eq of the bass really is.

Слишком мягкий звук не хватает атаки слишком задемпфирован. Возможно стоит подвинуть бриджевый звукосниматель ближе к основанию.

How do you actually adjust the string spacing though? I have a MR5S Bridge on a Ibanez bass, Everything I have seen so far is not very clear.

Hey, team Fodera, what's up? So, I've been reading the comments here and it seems like a lot of people are having the same issue as me: the sound is muffled and doesn't really change much when you switch pickups or tones. I think the problem is with the post-production mixing. Microphones just can't seem to accurately capture the sound that we hear in the room. So, I would suggest either doing a better job of mixing the bass or isolating the amplifier in a separate room and then cutting the bass in the recorded sound. I know you guys build some of the most amazing instruments out there (I used to have an Emperor and I still regret selling it to this day), so I hope you can figure this out. Good luck!

Just coming from jamming Soften the glare album Glint, then to know Ryan is self taught just absolutely blows my mind!! I love this man so much, and have to meet him one day, he’s the reason I play ampeg and Warwick Thumb basses, unfortunately I can’t afford his signature Fodera, maybe I’ll be blessed some day with one tho, that black beauty 😍😍💪

Sounds perfect to me. Ready for recording and would sound perfect with a band setup. The direct line signal may sound more bright but also clicky, Its very even an full in a tones and great bassplaying by Mike 💪

Sounds like everyone else now. 12k bass and it sounds that boring. This must be because Warwick strangely never built Ryan a signature bass. Only explanation for this. Nothing beats a Warwick and Ryan Martinie

Needed to comment on here. Thank you to the Fodera Team for building this bass. It’s been my main bass for the past 3 years, every time I pick it up I’m floored and humbled by how inspiring it sounds. ☺️ cheers!
