I play these in PW-7. I lost a bit in distance at first but kept trying to improve and with lessons my ball striking has improved. I feel I can now almost the ball where I want it to go. I’ve got my distance back again. Overall these clubs made me a better golfer. How are they going for you now?

...ordered (almost) the same new set JPX921 Tour with modus one 105 in stiff and with golf pride tour velvet align grips. 5-9 because I want to keep my speciality wedge Vokey sm8 46 degrees in and my Srixon U85 4 iron. The JPX 921 tour are very easy to hit, great dispersion, easy to work the ball and still a very soft feel (not as soft as the MP18/20) and a little more forgiveness (especially on a slight toe miss) compared to a real blade such as the MP18/20. My new set should have arrived last Friday but a few days earlier got the message that delivery was delayed ....so luck you that they are already in the bag ....enjoy your new clubs😎👍🏽

Hey Raymond! They told me 2 weeks and it was more like 3 weeks! I think with the holidays approaching the world events; everything is just a little slower! Thanks for the comment and I hope you get them soon! Keep me updated on what you think!

@@SeekingBirdiesGolf on the European Mizuno website they have an announcement that there are just a few 921 and MP20 heads and shafts left for 2020. Corona lockdowns had slowed down production... but I have great MP18 blades so no problem with the delay. The reason I switch to 921 tours is the fact I want to go back to steel shafts (MP 18 ‘s have graphite shafts because of the fact my joints sometimes give problems). But I like steel better and the 921 stability frame gives just a touch more forgiveness on slight toe misses. With the MP18 blades a toe miss is punishing in distance. I keep the MP18 blades as a backup for periods where my joints give problems though 😇

Congratulations on your new Mizunos Tyson. Nothing feels like a Mizuno, I have a set of MX-19 and they are solid. Now you just need some head covers to keep them looking good.

I've been playing Mizuno Mp30s for 13 years now and love them to this day. I am looking for a more forgiving set because I'm 55 now and ball striking is not getting easier with blades. Looking at the 921 forged and 921 HM Pro . Good content !

@@SeekingBirdiesGolf lol your swing is very impressive you have great mechanics and ball striking to go from the rogue irons to the tour irons thatll def take some getting used to. I bet when you flush one with your tours feels 1000 times better then those rogues

Hi. I am thinking about buying the same irons. Do you find they are difficult to hit? I'm both encouraged and worried that a few Tour Players bag these irons.
@SeekingBirdiesGolf3 жыл бұрын
Hey Adam! That is tough to answer. I would say depending on what clubs you’re coming from they might not be as forgiving as you are used to but they feel great once you get a few rounds in. I love them. They do not like soft ground, so if you take divots; these grab pretty hard and take some getting used to. The best thing I would say is that when you hit a missed shot, these clubs let you know exactly what you did so you can adjust next time. So much response and feel in them. Nothing better than striking it pure and the feel it gives.

Did you think about doing a combo set and swapping out the 4 and 5? I just got fit for the same set but got the 4 & 5 in the MP20 MMC. They're still in production and I'm a couple weeks out from getting them still it's torture lol
@SeekingBirdiesGolf3 жыл бұрын
I did not think about swapping 4 & 5 but I’m thinking of adding a 3 for driving. What were the thoughts behind swapping the 4 & 5? I hit the 4 the best, I feel.
@SeekingBirdiesGolf3 жыл бұрын
That is great! So important to get fitted to realize that type of stuff. You will enjoy the clubs. Each round I play, Ian thankful I have the Mizunos. Such great clubs! Let me know what you think after your first round!

@@SeekingBirdiesGolf I am pretty sure they do not offer a 3 now but could be wrong. I have an MP20 2i that is a rocket. Off the tee. So I am wondering how you’re getting along with the 4 and 5. I have jpx900 tours now and looking to upgrade. Thinking about doing a combo set for a bit more forgiveness from 6,5,4.
@SeekingBirdiesGolf3 жыл бұрын
@@kentao4 My go to fairway iron from 190 out is my 4 iron. Its also my favorite to hit off the tee if there is any type of hazards. It is my most pure club after my 8 iron. They do not make the 3 iron in the JPX 921 Tour but I believe I was thinking about getting the 3 iron from the MP-20 series. I still haven't added it but its definitely on my list.

Did your score go down or up switching from the Rogues to the 921 tours?
@SeekingBirdiesGolf3 жыл бұрын
Hey, sorry for the late response! Yes, my scores went down but I would say it’s because I’m playing with better fitting clubs, not the clubs them selves. I have been playing pretty good lately and I’m loving the feel these Mizunos give me. A lot of confidence when you crush your 4 iron pure.

How big of a difference in your opinion is hitting a "Forged Club"
@SeekingBirdiesGolf3 жыл бұрын
Going from my Callaway rogues to the forged club is definitely different. I would say the most noticeable thing is when you miss; you instantly know what you missed by the feedback it gives in your hands and follow through. Definitely more responsive.

I'm guessing NAHOP means "North American House Of Production". I.e. these were made in the Atlanta area, and not in Scotland (Europe), or Japan (Asia).

Got the 921 Forged with Modus 105 Reg shaft, and loving it. I’m 5’5’’ and got the irons at stock specs. Would you recommend cutting the length of the irons by 1" in lieu that the length of the irons at stock specs are usually built for males upwards of 5’9" in height?
@SeekingBirdiesGolf3 жыл бұрын
@@zaiemhalbi7573 I would only recommend cutting your clubs if that is the ONLY option to fit them. Don’t just do it because your height is not what the clubs say on paper. I cut my old clubs BUT I was taking the risk as I knew I was going to buy new clubs if I messed them up. It worked for me but NOT everyone. If your unsure, ask a club maker near you for help.
@zaiemhalbi75733 жыл бұрын
@@SeekingBirdiesGolf Hey I appreciate it man. Yea I was caught in two minds especially with my new Mizunos, not wanting to do anything to ruin them! I suppose the question stemmed more from feeling like the club was not flat at address due to the length. I’m gonna test with a set of old R11 and see if it feels better at 1” shorter.
