If gorgo had march speed, id maybe agree with you on gorgo/lc. But infantry relies heavily on march speed to get back in position. Also remember she doesnt do anything to benefit the rest of the marches in your mb, while alex is making up to 3 enemy marches take 30% more damage for.4 seconds. Lets also remember most inf players already have alex expertise. Gorgo/lc dont do that much better in trades to make it worth spending 690 more gh. Its kinda foolish to do so unless youre an absolute whale. Edit: Yes, i do acknowledge you mentioning lc/alex, and think thats the easy pick

Another point is that you can enjoy your kvk 1-3 because you have Alex. It would be boring just to wait for soc just to invest for legendary coms

The glory of guan these days is his silence, and helping you gain the upper hand in skill procs. As a 1v1, may not get such great trades. But getting ahead in a 5v5 seems pretty valuable still. I think a good museum buff will make guan still very viable in the field for that purpose Edit: Fingers still crossed for a sweet sun tzu prime. I hope they don’t do with him like they did beli prime. Niche is cool and all, but that wouldn’t do sun tzu any justice at all.

So I stupidly opened ysg and blew all heads in kvk 1 on him. I’m infantry main or atleast planned to….which infantry commander during soc should I grab first to pair with ysg? Or am I now forced to archer main for soc?

I gotta agree. For field, 2 single target commanders are far from meta. Huo William is definitely the pick. Along side a nevsky/joan as your primary cav march.

I would say if you are at the 6 march level he is good because you will technically be swarming all the time and unlike William he is guaranteed instant value

Lui Che/Alex, Scipio/Caesar, nevsky/ joan, Boudica/YSG, Zhuge/Hermann are my 5 marches. Ashur to replace Boudica or Ysg is currently the only upgrade i am considering. No way would I every make a set for a 6 or 7 march.

when i run 2 archers i Split them, so i run Ash/Hermann and Boudicca/ZL because Ash and Hermann do very well together and when they target your ZL/Hermann 2 of the best commaners are gone, so i got at least one of them on the field😅

Gorgo/Liu😂 I see what you are doing. Bring the slowest March on the Field so you can kill it easy. I tried once.Its a bs Combo. Idk which KZbinr started with this but no inf player should use this combo.

I'm using Gorgo/Liu Che with a full march speed talent build and +10% march speed from the Eternal Empire set and a Primed inscription that gives another 5% march speed and she's one of my faster commanders and consistently gives the best open field reports.

you should probably just stick to archers because your cav advice is always garbage. And I just have to say it because you’re telling people which commanders are the best and you just don’t know what you’re talking about. HQ is a better commander than nevsky and I know he is because I have both expertised and you’re relegating him to 5th March with belisarius. If you play archer then give advice for archers because you don’t know anything about cav marches.

I always say this but please actually watch the video. HQ is said is an option for a 4th march I just placed him 5th because both William and Beli have effects that boost up to 5 marches or need 5 marches. That is why it really makes sense to have him 5th but honestly works at 4th. I don’t think he is better than Nevsky and when I initially stated that he was the whole community thought otherwise
