The NEW NINJI SPEEDRUN Feels Like MARIO KART!!!

Nintendo just released a brand new Ninji Speedrun on 6/2/2020 called "Balloon Race"! This Ninji course feels inspired by the Mario Kart series and also gave me very reminiscint vibes to a game I used to play on the NES called Super Sprint!

Two time save you can have: Going clockwise to collect the five coins is actually quicker, and when hitting the on off switch, you can do it efficiently without even letting go of run, though it is precise. Hopefully you can sub 41 if you practice more.

This is exactly what I commented in one of Ryu's videos when he was talking about the P-Balloon the first week of the update. With it they you can now make Mario Kart-esque levels. The way they used the on-off switch may not be useful in a VS level, but that's an idea. Like, the level is some paths with some on-off blocks and maybe some form of conveyors or breakable/turning/On-Off blocks covering pipes so in can cause interference for the other players. Then at the end after entering a pipe/Door there can be a room to make the players wait for the rest of the players, with the first arriving gaining some bonus like a star for the next lap. When all the player are in the room, some contraption activate the On-Off switch, the bonus for the first to the room and a P-switch so they can go in a pipe/door so they can continue the race, with the new layout of the On-Off blocks. Or something like that~

That 39 second world record was me Dave, what I did to shave hella time off is that I aimed for the first bottom spring and I was able to use the spring to get into that tiny area without losing speed at all, and bam, that's how

When you drive a car, you hit the brakes when you turn to slow down and cut corners, saving you time. When you fly a P-Mario (or P-Toad), you let go of the Run button to slow down and cut corners, saving you time. Only except... your actually a bad driver since you don't seem to do that. If I had to rank the ninjis it'd go like this: 8. The 10-Coin of the Woods (didn't enjoy it at all for some reason) 7. Rolling Snowballs (It's just a run-right) 6. Swinging Claw Flyaway (Its bascically just a run-right) 5. Balloon Race (was kinda fun, but I wanted a SMB2 mushroom ninji, and power balloon is my least favorite new power-up (non-hat) 4. Banzai Bill Cliff Climb (was fun, just not as cool and optimal as the top 3) 3. Headgear Hustle (Very open, but was a bit annoying to grind) 2. Cat Mario Dash (Idk why but this one I LOVED) probably cuz i got a great time on it (30.45) 1. Speedventure of Link (Yeah)
