Cool beans brother! looking forward to your video, hey the threads on the clutch pilot shaft is bigger than the 6mm shafts that sterlingkit sells for the toyan engines I found out tonight lol, I will have to contact them to see if they have one for it.

As far as the torque johnnyq90 was building a dyno to test these engines, they are rated around 1.2 pz (hp) they have good torque because they are 4 strokes. I have plans on doing more scale trucks in the future 👍

good stuff Dennis may as well be direct and ask them about the 18k vs. 20k rpm limit also. any updates re: the L400 yet?
@dennisdempseyradiooutofcontrol3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! yeah I am going to ask about the rpm and warranties, I found out the clutch pilot shaft is bigger than the standard 6mm, might be 1/4 28 thread I will investigate it for everyone. also I haven't heard anything on my L400 yet.

Dennis I love this Engine, but it's sold as completely built I want to do a 2 cylinder but I I want to assemble it not it come that way any suggestions to get what I want?
@713Ace5293 жыл бұрын
Probably gonna need a good size tank of H2O. seems to get super hot in the videos. I like the thicker belt. The head gasket is better. When I opened my L200 I found the gasket to be thin as a 12oz aluminum soda that it seemed to leak oil into the aluminum where it was cut or shaved off. Would be cool to print the wall poster size manual into a table cloth cover. LOL 😂 Thanks for sharing.
@dennisdempseyradiooutofcontrol3 жыл бұрын
I agree these looked like they run hot at open throttle, overall it looks to be better than the L200 engines, time will tell when I get it stuffed in a project and run it lol!
@rtalbot873 жыл бұрын
Hello again Dennis. Nice to see you again. You ask for concerns ? My only observation is that the starter motor housing seems awful close to the exhaust manifold ! I think the starter may get cooked. Sorry to be so sceptical (or cynical) but I wonder if that is why the head gasket is so thick ! Can't wait to hear it run. Also looking forward to your comparison with the Toyan L200.
@dennisdempseyradiooutofcontrol3 жыл бұрын
Hey how are things going? I noticed the close proximity to the starter also, guess I will make a alloy shield for the starter before I run it. The thicker head gasket is a good thing in my opinion, I believe that the L400 cranks are breaking because of the non existent compression height and no center support, I will have more updates on them soon.👍
@rtalbot873 жыл бұрын
@@dennisdempseyradiooutofcontrol I agree, a thicker head gasket is desirable, not only does it lower compression, it also provides a better seal, but.........

Hi Dennis, I just found a first report on a NR200 engine failure. It's on youtube. Big end let go; insufficient torque. You may want to check yours. Do the conrod bolts use tab washers to prevent bolts and nuts loosening ?
@dennisdempseyradiooutofcontrol2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I seen that, im going to check mine, the con bolts just use loctite there isn't enough room for a lock tab maybe a drilled safety wire after they are torqued down might work.
@NEOBRUNOX353 жыл бұрын
I like it, but one thing i think is wrong is the exhaust too close to the electric motor

Will Toyan FS-100g work in HSP 2 speed?
@dennisdempseyradiooutofcontrol2 жыл бұрын
Yes it will work with the hsp 2 speed, you have to back out the second gear adjustment to shift earlier because of the lower rpm's the engine puts out.

@@dennisdempseyradiooutofcontrol Im on the fence about buying HSP 94122 nitro chassis and a Toyan FS-100G Do you know if it will just bolt right in without mods and what about top speed would it get? Ive always wanted a nitro car years ago now brushless electric is king and nitro fuel is expensive but i have an electric buggy basher and want my on-road to be more of a tuner would be really nice to be able to use gasoline out the pump right across the street besides toxic expensive nitro fuel the Toyan FS-100g in the 2 speed HSP will do 30+ mph at least i was hoping
@dennisdempseyradiooutofcontrol2 жыл бұрын
@@specops420 The Toyan FS-100 will need to be fitted to the chassis so some alterations will have to be made, if you use a large gear clutch bell and a 3 shoe clutch is a must to get most of the torque to the drivetrain, the Toyan 4 strokes have half the rpm of a 2 stroke but way more low end torque.

1.2 ps (hp) yeah right 🤣 More like 0.12 ps I wish they would stop making these false power claims! A 30cc 2 stroke has about 1 hp so these tiny engines obviously don't have anywhere near 1.2 ps (hp)
