GREAT overview: Definition, history, context, examples, and approaches in 11 minutes. That's hard to do. Nice work ... must have had an OKR driving it.

Great explanation. Our organization has been using KPIs and have basically modified them into OKRs without realizing there was an actual methodology already in place. Glad to find it formally declared!

hey, can I ask how your organization evaluate okrs? and are they included in the performance review? if not, how do they reward high performers ? what happens to those who simply don't use okrs? thank you (sorry I asked way too many questions)

Hello, Hendrik, your videos are really good. I just read a good article about "Why OKRs fail". I think it might be a good addition to include some of the information in this video. Or maybe that would be a topic for a separate video.

Hey Henrik, Thanks for such a great crash course! I got to learn a lot of new things, and honestly can't wait to implement them. I had a question, I am managing an e-commerce consultancy based in Malaysia, and a big number of our clients rely on us to manage their e-commerce stores. (From marketing to fulfillment) , does it make sense to do OKRs for each of our client's stores that we are managing, and then tie it with our own primary business OKR - which could be - "Give our clients the best e-store management experience they can find"? Would really appreciate your help!

Would you recommend the OKR for a new startup (first 6 month) with 3-4 people working on it and still trying to define the usp of the product, the nische and maybe even do the pivot?

Yes, I do. But you probably want to work with monthly OKRs instead of quarterly, as things simply change much quicker for you than for an established company. Working with OKRs and following a closing processes that encourages your team to document their learnings will massively increase your learning curve and beat the competition.
