OnePlus has changed their ways. I still currently use my OnePlus 7pro and it is still an amazing phone... The pop up Camera still amazes people. This was a very affordable phone with many amazing features and the price was very affordable. The new OnePlus flagship is really expensive.. I refuse to pay 1000 dollars for a phone. I left the Samsung and note series of phones because of the prices kept going up. I will be looking for another flagship phone in the near future any recommendations?

However I was willing to upgrade my device last week and it was really hard to ditch OP this time due to the ridiculous pricing and limitation in 5G bands. I had sent my g2 to an authorized Motorola repair centre and they did something fishy (I can't recall exactly what atm; will edit the comment once I do), so I sued them for damages...and they fled from the property they had rented; I decided not to pursue the case, tho. My dad has an x4, I had a moto g2, my mom had a g2 4G and my sister had a moto X). I bought and recommended Motorola phones because I liked them for their clean, bloatware-free interface, but I am never going back. I'm very happy with my Samsung S9+.

I have never used a OnePlus device. I still remember when i was in class VIII and it was 2015 and Oneplus recently launched their OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X and every one back in my school who had a interest in tech was talking everyday about this device. After that, a few of friends went ahead and bought the Oneplus 5, OnePlus 6T and all when they moved to higher classes. Even i used to recommend people to buy the Oneplus since it was that good when it was recently launched. But nowadays all my friends who had OnePlus 7, Oneplus 8 started complaining about the issues which Ranjit sir mentioned in this video. Thanks to him for pointing this out.

I am really disheartened with my OP7T upgrade, sorry downgrade I must correct! Battery life has gone for a huge toss, Refresh rate has been affected, lag is now pretty much everywhere, camera quality has downgraded, too. I bought this phone in 2019 end with a lot of RnD and it really paid off till the last upgrade. And yes, I am thinking to switch the device if I don't see any update in 2-3 months.

Yeah... I feel your issue even my nephew who has OnePlus 7 Pro is in the same boat.... If situation does not get fixed I might suggest him to flash a custom rom coz I know he simply does not want to spend money during this time on a new smartphone.

@@shreyasl6493 tons of problem arrives when you install custom rom. Reason:- 1. since it requires unlocking of bootloader, many upi app all banking apps doesn't work.. believe me. 2. You won't find Netflix in play store. 3. Camera become disaster(because companies put lot of effort in optimising that stock camera app). 4. At first custom os feel good but certain parts like instant wake up or wifi fluctuations will occur bcoz developer aren't getting money to optimize those thing. 5.BIG RISK OF DATA LOSS So stick with default wait for Android 12..or change the phone

Exactly. Comeon Ranjith..... What you spoke from the consumers end. I have this Wifi connectivity issue with my OnePlus 7T got it on Aug2020. After update it really sucks. Wifi Automatically gets disconnected if keep it away over night. I'm using this as my secondary device therefore I ll not use much when I pickup the phone the wifi connection will be disconnected automatically. I dono why does this happen. My 2010 Samsung phone still stays connected even after not touching one week or like 10days.. also I have notification issues. Unlike my primary phone this is not that sensitive. i have notification lag, call lag etc.

I’m a OnePlus 8 user…I’ve already started to feel the security patches getting delayed. OnePlus simply forgets it’s older phones and users once it launches the latest generation. What’s wrong with OnePlus software department? They don’t include previous generation phones to android beta programs and the ones it does to the latest ones(OnePlus 9), they are crappy enough to brick the devices.
