I bought a 2023 Panamera and then heard a new one was coming for 2024. I was nervous that mine would be immediately outdated, but in true Porsche fashion, this is an evolution, so mine is still relevant. Thank you Porsche for that! I think this helps with resell across Porsche cars as well - always evolving so past generations stay relevant and a part of the story.

It’s where they will continue to achieve brand growth and exponential status growth for years to come along with exceptional profitability to keep delivering vehicles for another 75 years. They are in tune with their biggest market customers for this model.

The dashboard is interesting. Why put round ”gauges” on the screen when we are no longer constrained by the pure mechanical simplicity of a round analog gauge? Why not just have floating numbers for the engine speed and vehicle speed? Maybe a disembodied vehicle speed and a panel that turns red when engine speed approaches maximum engine speed.

However, if you look at the watch market right now you still see Rolex, Omega, etc. being the most lucrative and sought-after brands. You might think they’re outdated already but the truth is there’ll always be a market, and usually a high-end market, for brands that really know their stuff. And I definitely see Porsche being one of them and they are definitely not behind in the EV game either. It’s a simple question - do you think people dream about owning a Huawei / BYD or a Rolex / Porsche instead?

PORSCHE, I don't really know ... Visibly a felicituos evolution of the Panamera front - AND finally also rear design. BUT from the deciding side view design, it's UNFORTUNATELY really NOT THAT MUCH difference from the predecessor, that I hoped for ☹️. There I would rather talk from a very big facelift - VERY disappointing after nearly 8 years of a really good looking Panamera II ! I'm alright with the actual Porsche Exterieur Design through all models - OF COURSE you have to be VERY careful with the development of your icon's designs - 718 Boxster & 718 Cayman AND FOR VERY SURE ON TOP EACH NEW 911 - BUT ALL four door Porsches should still have a very visible exterieur design evolution in comparison between each two generations of each 4 door model. That was it successfully VERY visible between Panamera I and II, each three Cayenne generations AND I do still hope so for the fully electric Macan II next year. So I hope, you won't leave me ( and for very sure many many fans more ) this disappointed again ! All your icons BIG BIG fan. From the bavarian east Allgäu. MAH.

And the guy/presenter Peter Varga seems like a nice dude, but Porsche Marketing LISTEN UP -- how come to present the world such a sophisticated car from such a luxury brand to such an audience with a guy barely aware of the words he is saying... you can see how he is suffering talking on stage in English. Ok GERMAN CAR, GERMAN GUY, well I'M AUSTRIAN and Arnold's accent wasn't the best either :) .... it just disturbed, but I don't want to detract from the successful car launch, it's just a pity when it comes to perfection! It’s a spectacular design but why do we have to “taycanize” all the cars now…. The rear of the panamera was perfect,giving out the feel of a family 911, this new design is just a weird mix of a taycan and a macan.

Looks like a mild facelift to be honest. Interior is brand new but looks already dated compared to competitors (5 series BMW, or E klass Mercedes) infotainment is also a bit weak. Still beautiful car, hopefully price for the Turbo model won't exceed 150k Eur.
