That "night vision" isn't just for finding stuff. That vision is freaking awesome. Unlike the regular night vision, it actually makes the enemy glow white from a much further distance than the regular vision, and you can also use it in daytime. It is much easier to scout bases with a drone using that. But agree that the drone isn't good enough. The delay between shots is too big, and often it isn't even killing a regular soldier. And still didn't figure out what the "flash" is for.

You don’t need the Pathfinder class to find them. You can find them with any class by traveling around. It’s made easier with the “Resources Detection” skill when using a different class because they show up differently on the mini map.

On the weapons, I think that you'll love the honey badger, if you haven't used it yet. It's pretty much my go to weapon now, especially as I primarily use the panther class.

I think the Armaros would work perfectly if it didn't count down at all until you used one of the second, third or fourth abilities (the offensive ones). It would make sense that the system wouldn't detect a breach with us just highjacking the feed and scanning with the first ability. The strikes would be better if the explosion radius was bigger with a much shorter cooldown and they could balance it out by only giving us 4 missiles. You can cancel the Armaros early with the same button we use for the standard drone.

As to the drone, it's really good for scouting (That and the Echelon class are tops by far there), but I do agree that it's real utility would be when playing with friends. Have an Echelon in to do the initial scout, your squad get into position, and you can then use combinations of the flash bang and diversions to assist them as they move in for the kill. That or bomb well defended areas to break down their defenses as your allies moved in. By yourself, it's pretty much a scouting tool (at least that's generally how I use it).

Try the echelon 4 headgear. They tweaked the night vision to match current NV and is now white and no longer green.

Don’t know if this has been said before but if you fill your technique gauge and stack up four uplink protocols you can use the Armaros interface 5 times with little breaks in between I also love the white hot thermal because it makes it way easier to detect enemies sometimes

I can find the hidden tech caches with all classes. the caches show up on the hud map as large spots like the resources do.

Not been playing long, but Iv spent more time hunting these caches, than shooting 😂 they pop up as fat white circles on the mini map, I’m playing panther as well instead of the newer one. But Iv found a handful of amazing blueprints including MK17 scout and aug assault rifle.

Don't bother looking for the aug scout as its glitched atm. It cant be found in the tactical caches. Ubisoft knows about it. Check forums.
