For those of you who are wondering whether to get these or not (I was as well) here's my honest opinion about them: I've used them for good 3 years. Some people say they break, are uncomfortable and not durable. That worried me, but in 3 years I can say, that they held up really well, are comfortable to my huge head and have quality good enough for sure for regular gaming and music listening. So yes, if you get them, take a good care of them not to drop around, they will hold for a long time. Using them right now and gonna plan to use for quite some time. Strong 9/10.

When I have the headset on and I skype, play games or hear music there is always a quiet rush in the background. I dont know how to get it away but the sound itself sounds gorgeous and mic is very good too. This background rush is the only thing. Did/do you have these problems too?

Really depends if you want a green (original) or white (chroma) led on the mic. Razer decided that 16.8 mil colors was confusing so they decided to choose the mic led color for you. Leaving you with one decision. Which color for the ear logo. Sort of defeats the purpose of chroma.

Listening to this with my new Kraken 7.1 Chroma! First I listened to (the PC was already on :P). All I did was optimize the settings, and wow.. Tried with bass boost, but at this video it was way to overkill. Best headphones ever! They are better than my old Astro A50's, holy macroroni (see what I did there?). I suggest these. Just buy these, you won't regret. They are sick, and the best headphones at the marked currently - And I've tried a lot of other headsets.. Astro, Logitech, Steelseries and now these. These are really, really comfy too! I tried some "Kraken Pro's" at my friends house earlier today, and actually these sound better! So it's not just the higher price and RGB lights. Buy these, now! What are you waiting for?

Yeah, but at least on PS4 you have to change something in the audio/video settings to "all audio" instead of "chat audio". Just search around in audio settings.

I bought Turtle Beach Earforce Z300 Wireless + Bluetooth maybe a month ago, for about $200. I was thrilled thinkin' I'd got a great headset. The only bad thing was, they sucked camels balls compared to the $99 Kraken Chroma. Honestly I've had alot of them gaming headsets. I had the Logitech G35 7.1 (No complaints). The Earforce Z300 was my first Turtle Beach product, and nedless to say my LAST. if you're looking for a desent well sounding gaming-headset with a rich bass and awesome soundquality for a desent amount of money... just get em Kraken :)

I got the Turtle Beach z60 7.1 from a friend for very cheap. I was just wondering, how is it in comparison with the Kraken Pro Chroma 7.1? The z60 is so comfortable I can wear it for hours none stop. I really like the Chroma on how it looks with those lights on the sides. I also wonder, sound quality and bass compare to the Turtle Beach z60? I really love the Razer products.

I miss how Razer designs their titles for the gaming peripherals they release. Razer Kraken 7.1 use to have the head of the Kraken on the A but now its just bold text. Its the same with the Orbweaver, they launched the 2014 edition that include the Razer mechanical keys but the title is only text and not the original one with the spider on the O. Blackwidow use to have a design as well and now its just text. The products they release still pleases me, i just hope they have the time to design a cool unique title for their future products.

Thiago Andrade é Assim mesmo cara :) A versão antiga ficava com uma luz branca acessa quando estava ativado e vermelho quando estava desativado. Essa versão nova fica com o led desligado quando o mic ta ativado e vermelho quando desativado. Te garanto que é bem melhor jogar sem esse led ligado! Ele te desconcentra pra caramba !!!

so i just had the 7.1 kraken, and the mic light was green when it wasnt muted. Then i got the 7.1 chroma and the mic light is red and muted, and is talkable one the light is off. is that normal for these? and i cant seem to change to color on the mic even tho ive seen videos of other with the mic being a different color, any help?
