That stuff is a cool touch. The whole playing dead thing is pretty annoying though, as they seem to do it waaaaay too frequently. I swear I had one of the mansion guards go down after I shot him, play dead, stand up again and get shot by my team, and then a minute later get up AGAIN just the same. Another guy had visibly been shot right in the throat with a rifle, but still jumped up and instakilled me because he somehow was merely pretending to be dead.

Now if they would only make it so that the AI can't be facing the other direction and imediately shoot you in the face. Heck, I put bullets in their cheeks, and unhelmeted heads and it doesn't phase them one bit. Last time I buy an early access game.

I installed the game and played the car dealership for my first game. Got a C+ idk I’m kind of proud of that considering I had no idea what I was doing for the first 10 minutes. Ended up loving every second of it. Breaching is so satisfying.

Like being asked to show your license, you turn around and lean into the car to retrieve it and you get shot in the back. Or getting a bunch of confusing commands by a squad of "swat" dudes who then shoot you for pulling your pants up. Or just getting randomly shot in your car because the cops were looking for a car of a different model and colour, but they're too fucking incompetent to check. Don't be a cuck and defend that shit.

the fact that people are already making maps for this game is awesome! on the Nexus there is a Map called Neptune Spear. its the Osama Bin Laden Raid. there is also Super-A club. which is pretty sweet too. also a bunch of Swat-4 maps remade. i just saw the author of the SWAT4 custom map Sky tower, has also remade his map for Ready or Not. so im going to try that one out next. some great small maps too, would recommend "A Florida Man" which probably the most realistic SWAT call of them all XD

One criticism. Cinematic camera is interesting, but it kind of takes away the intensity of the gunfight that you get in first person view. It might help if you show both the shooters in your team and the enemies or even just the general vicinity that they're shooting at. Because right now it just looks like a couple of people randomly firing in random directions.

The new update is absolutely amazing. I hope there is some changes with AI snapping to you and headshotting you. If I walk into a room and get one tapped that’s cool, but if I put 3 rounds in a suspect from the side then he instantly snaps to me takes me out of the experience sometimes.

The AI in this game NEEDS a lot of work. The team swat AI literally shoots through me to shoot some chick 20 yards away with a knife with 0 warning and even walk into doorways backwards blocking me from entering or following behind me so close that they block me from moving. The enemy AI is also pretty bad literally shooting me through walls with no actual visual after moving out of sight and they still track me and damage the crap out of me. The game itself is fun for someone who loves tactical shooters but the AI is pretty garbage or atleast some important elements of the AI is garbage. But I guess if you play online or with friends its not THAT big of a deal but I play solo so its pretty annoying. Other then the AI issues its a great game.

2 manning this game is so hard. Play with 4+ people for the best experience. ;) Love the dark and gritty atmospheres and smarter AI now. Also, cuff "neutralized" people and move civillians to an area they won't be killed. Had an AI kill a guy I had cuffed at my entry point after he flanked and shot at us, moved rooms and then hid in a shower. The cuffed guy that got killed wasn't killed in crossfire either.

Played it last night and the enemies seem very beefy, taking 3-4 7.62x51 even with headshots. If you select a weapon that is supporter only it will let you customize and pick it but then switch you to a default weapon when you back out. It doesn't tell you that's the issue of course so I thought it was broken. A couple times I had an enemy shoot me before his weapon came out (and I was hosting).

Like he said^ you don’t need to spend 10k to run it, but be prepared to spend between 2-5k if you want a decent prebuilt one. You can always buy the parts yourself and put it together (in which I did with mine) and it could possibly be cheaper. I built mine purely off of KZbin tutorials.. so which ever route you go I wish you the best.

Some people there just want to get rid of stuff and if you’re not a dick bartering is easy. Went on to spend 100 on keyboard 40 on mouse entire setup under 600 and preforms at top tier pc levels don’t get scammed by prebuilts

There’s local and team voice chats, team chat being the superior one so you can talk to everyone, wherever they are in the map. “L” is the key bind to switch between chats, “V” is the key bind to speak
