Southern Baptists have been talking a lot about a resolution the last two years, and with good reason.
But far more important than talking about a resolution is showing some. For the day we are facing we need resolve-godly, humble, Spirit-empowered resolve to stand firm in this evil day.

It's been a while since I've heard a message like this. Don't get me wrong there are some Godly voices out there (J. McArthur) but this message was different, it was timely, relevant and urgent. We are a people who have a form of Godliness but denying it power. This issues outlined in this sermon is not only problem in America but also my homeland of Jamaica 🇯🇲, where I am at now. No practice of Church discipline (a foreign concept). I've been praying but fail to be consistent. Please pray for Churches here.

We do need messages like this. Too many are preaching “ exegetical” which is fine. They preach the Gospel but never mention the gospels that are attacking the Gospel. So we hear nothing of what’s going on today. It’s like a parent that shields his children from knowing what’s in the world .

Dr. Longshore and Founders Ministry: I’ve listened to you all for a while now. I have no affiliation with the SBC or any convention. I believe that you are true in your message and devotion, and I believe you are wholly devoted to the triune God of Scripture. I understand why you are still a part of the SBC, and I would have been one to remain for the same reasons you probably are remaining. But if what you say is true of the SBC leadership, you all need to leave now and let God burn it to the ground. I’m praying for you and if it’s God’s will, I pray you’ll leave soon.

I listened to this live, but it was well worth listening to again; how I appreciate such conviction and backbone, none of which is to be found in the OPC in Crystal Lake, Illinois. I don't have a high regard for young WTS graduates, but I have come to have a high regard for Longshore. This talk was hands-down the defining talk and question of the conference and convention.

WOW!! The SBC is in a whole LOT more trouble than I knew. This is a great message but what Jared says at the end about David Hughes and his Church of the Glades would be unbelievable if I didn’t know Jared well enough to know better. Pretty sure I posted something about the Church of the Glades last year or the year before. How nice to see that there are folks like Jared who will submit disobedient and rebellious churches, like Church of the Glades and Saddleback, for removal. LOT of Truth in this message. Those who follow me know that I don’t adhere to Jared’s version of Reformed Theology but, as with many others of RT, they are often spot on Biblically. As is the case here. Though I'm not a member of SBC, or attend a SBC church now, I have often considered them the last bastion in the defense of Biblical Christianity. Saddleback's recent ordination rebellious shenanigans was a shock to me. If the SBC Leadership and new President fail to uphold and enforce the BF&M then they all need to just shut up, sit down, stop the charade, dissolve the SBC, and wait for Jesus to come spew them out of His mouth.

Great message Jared you inspire to share this scripture as you share on the the new religion. The âpostle Paul writing to the Colossians in chap 2 vs 8 and 9. Beware lest anyone spoil you through Philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of men after the rudiments of the world and not after Christ. Vs 9 For in him dwells all the Fullness of the Godhead bodily. Thanks for allowing me to share as the Churches are getting shifted with Social Justice and Critical Race Theory etc in the new religion. Recently left a church after confronting a talented problem solver, (ex-Mars Hill Church) who showed a willingness to obviously lie and be rude, (basically House M.D. but neither that exceptional or funny). The pastor chose to play obtuse, (even in the face of a hard pivot when caught in a lie) which has led me to comclude that the church has basically created businesses/clubs instead of a place where discipleship/peace and purity is sought. Make the Commandments Great Again...

I honestly believe that without a watchman on the wall , the average back porch Baptist will not know how paganism has crept into to seminary to pulpit. And from the pulpit, linked with the world, the members of the local church are in danger. Unless there is a watchman and shepherd, the SBC will collapse and no one will know why or how. I agree with the overall message but he doesn’t seem to understand that the context of conflict and resolution is within the church. The SBC is not a church. They are not subject to a plurality of elders. This is one reason the SBC is destined to fail and should fail.
