This was one of the most meaningful sermons I've ever heard. No one has taught me how to be a man throughout my life. I have been struggling with it. God give me the strength and understanding needed to fight the fight you gave me like a man under the headship of Christ and in obedience to Him. Amen.

I needed to hear this 13 years ago. Single men, I beg of you to listen to this and take what Toby has said to heart. Married men, please repent and apply this message. If you don’t you’ll find yourself alone and your wife gone chasing after other gods. You will be brought to ruin. But even then, the Triune God will forgive you and carry you through the trials and tribulation of abandonment.

@dominicjones82734 жыл бұрын
On SB Hi. I’m Dom’s wife. He is told to love me so much he would die for me. I don’t have to do that for him. I’d rather be a Christian woman than a Christian man. He has the full weight of responsibility for my spiritual welfare and that of our children. I wouldn’t want that on my shoulders! But God has made him strong and capable to handle it, and he loves the responsibility. God made us perfectly able to fulfill our different and equal roles. Scripture tells us we are all equal to God. But to each other the men protect the women, and the women help the men. It’s a perfect plan of course, because it’s God’s plan! God revered women so much. As Jesus was dying on the cross he made sure his mother was going to be taken care of. The women stayed with him until he died. The women took Him down, anointed His poor body and laid Him to rest. They were the first to the tomb to find Him gone. Every man (except Adam) is born of woman. God made special provision for widows, daughters and wives. Ask Christian wives with Christian husbands. Do some asking around. My non Christian friends have boyfriends who are generally good, but they do complain that their men don’t really want to commit to marriage, have had lots of partners before and aren’t really keen on supporting their families. I’m generalising of course, but telling you my experience with women I know. Before you write off the bible and have this impression of Christianity being mysoginistic, I would respectfully suggest if you search the scripture you will find the men have quite a tough time while the women are revered and cared for. I wish you all the best
@dominicjones82734 жыл бұрын
On SB hi again, I just wanted to add, this preacher is calling men to be strong and protective. I think you were saying this preacher is saying women are not equal to men. He is not. He’s telling men to be men, and not to let themselves be weaker than women. It’s really positive for men. And women love active strong protective men (just look at how some women go silly over firefighters). So it’s a win win for all of us. Blessings to you.

The Americans love to say "a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do", but what is it really that a man has to do? Take a gun and go shoot anybody he doesn't like? Too many people are too afraid to talk about what men gotta do for fear of being tagged "chauvinist or mysoginist". This preacher has laid it out straight, a man's gotta use his strength to build, direct and protect (his family, friends, church, community, country, etc). God bless you, Sir, God bless you

I’ve been being disobedient to God for the past 6 years giving my strength to the wrong woman, destroying my life and relationships. I’ve become a ghost of a man. I finally listened to God and let her go. But I am completely lost idk who I am anymore and I’m weak. I’ve lost my power, strength and voice and influence. I’m nobody with zero power in this state of the world and I feel so ashamed and guilty. I can’t even function. I cant look anybody in the eye. Am I too far gone? I’ve been selling my own soul and surrendering my kingdom for 6 years… I need some serious help and any advice would be very helpful anybody. I feel so sorry. This sermon is spot on. It sucks to find myself on the wrong side of it but I’ve always been stubborn and had to learn the hard way. I’m only 28 and I do have the smallest inkling of hope but my kingdom is demolished. My friends and family don’t recognize me anymore. I don’t recognize me anymore.

I want to reclaim my soul, regain my strength and influence, and serve God with all my might until the end of my days. 🙏 I’m asking Jesus for strength everyday. Strength to accept the consequences of my actions with grace and continue to get up and serve God as I am. And hope that one day I’ll wake up and feel okay with myself again. It’s a miracle I’m still alive today I’ve been so reckless and suicidal. I do believe Jesus is saving me. But the devil is attacking me so hard. This is a slow battle I’m fighting it feels but I do believe Jesus has already won. Amen 🙏 Lord help me get out of my own head and selfish desires and think more of others than myself. Make me into your servant. 🙏 I’m desperate. I cannot go back in time and change what I’ve done but I cannot give up. I want to get back into the fight.

I can relate, some, as i have backslidden into abominable sins for 20 years, but almost 2 yrs now, abstaining and overcoming. Had several near death experiences and repented of it. It was not a woman, but my weakness is women, and i hated being male for so long, as was rejected so much by women i wanted. Romance and female beauty were my idols!! I finally have woken up to my sins, even though i was baptized in 1981! King Manasseh was the most wicked Israelite king, but came to his senses later. Solomon aat the end of his life, apparently turned again to Yahwah or God. Ecclesiastes seem to show this, at the end of the book. I cry out to The Father and Christ often, for full forgiveness of my sick sins, and to restore a right spirit,and help me to embrace my masculinity and get rid of effeminacy. Pleas e do not give up. If this old fool can change, I know you can, too. It takes time and prayer, Bible reading and practice. I know i have a lot of changing to do yet.
