Wow, decent sound quality and versatility with satellite speaker options. Surprised I haven't seen an audio company do something similar for jobsites. It'd be nice if a person could use a DAC with this via USB-A or 3.5mm. It's definitely worth it! You could even get creative with satellite speaker placement. Nicely done, Mark!

Thanks, I think Makita has some bluetooth radio that daisy-chains, but haven't seen them reviewed or heard the sound quality. The Ryobi Clamp Speakers are a nice setup to extend the sound.

If milwaukee made a Packout Mini radio that was the size of the deep half cases, that could be powered by extension cord, or M12/M18. I would buy it. I'm really not impressed by any of the radios any of these companies have been putting out lately.

When the stereo is stacked on a Link toolbox, are you able to lock on a tool bag or small parts organizer on top of it? It doesn’t look like it has the same top needed to lock things on top

No, it doesn't charge the battery, unfortunately. I just went outside to double check that it broadcasts radio stations and the answer is yes. I did just notice that this in only a FM radio, no AM.

Lmao LINK compatible doesn’t mean it can connect to other speakers, it means it’s modular and can physically connect to other LINK mounting systems and portable tool holders/mounts. 🤦‍♂️ VERSE is the tech name for the speaker connectivity.
