The aperture is set too low because of the low light situation so the focus plane was really shallow. So only a few things can be in focus at a time. Nothing else they can do really, aside from filming a bit earlier in the day so there’s more light.

This is used for diagnostic access, but it has a secondary unpublished function, - If the car exceeds any rate leading to a sudden stop in an accident, that data including what the driver was doing with the screens is recorded and is only available to two entities (in Germany and other countries) The Mercedes company and the POLICE. So if you decide to reverse into someone and then claim they rear ended you for example, that will be proven to be untrue. This is the first step towards a total system "black box" that's coming by law in new cars. Insurers will love this so will the Police!

The car is certainly beautiful, the lights going around the interior is a silly add-on. The red interior I very much like. The "Mercedes" voice command is just extra icing on the cake. Mind you, I'm a senior and as poor as a church mouse, lol, and couldn't afford even the insurance. Anyhow ✌to all.
