The Rockwell 6c is the only razor you need. It's an unmatched value in wet shaving IMO. If I had to pick one razor for the rest of my life it would be the Rockwell 6s or Henson Ti22 or Rex Konsul. Of course I love buying razors and feeling something different every day. So I buy some expensive but AWESOME razors like the Rex Konsul, Henson Ti22, revamped fat boy, etc. I love having a lot of razors. I'm thinking I'll shave with the Lupo stainless steel 72 or 58 tonight, wonderful razors at a good price. Great video man !

I absolutely love my Rockwell, it just feels right! I have a real FAIL for you and your viewers: I've used a Merkur then the Rockwell for months now with very little to no nicks or severe irritation. Here is the Fail...My wonderful Son bought me shave kit off Amazon .The kit came with a butterfly razor Which I was so excited about using because I remember thats what my Father used. Well 6 cuts and I mean cuts later I opened the butterfly and felt the blade move side to side on the posts. I now know the value of a good razor. Another great video by the way. It's obvious you put a great deal of work into Them.

I don't know what kind of black magic was used to design the 6C, but I can't think of a better razor than this. I've loved the Merkur Futur, the Pearl Flexi, but the Rockwell is the best adjustable for me, period. It's never cut me, never irritated me. My wife has never had a good opinion of double edge razors, but she loves the Rose Gold 6C I got her as a gift, for the same reasons (no cuts, no irritation).

Just tried the Gillette Nacet blade for the first time. Wow these blades are awesome. Tried feather, kai, astras, permasharps. Nacets are smooth and sharp. First time i had no real stinging or burn. Did a face and head shave worked great. Thanks for providing all the great advice.

The 6S is my go-to safety razor. Nacet, Astra, and Wilkinson Sword (India) blades pair equally well for me. If you shaved every day, which plate would you use? For the price and performance, you can't beat Nivea sensitive balm.

The plate dictates which blade I’m going to use regardless of how much growth I have on my face. Nivea is my all-time favorite favorite face balm.

@@OhioShaves Interesting. I'm the opposite. For everyday shaves, I use R4 on passes 1&2 and R2 for pass 3 and pickups. For 2-3 days of growth, I'll use R5 or R6 for pass 1 and finish with R4/R2. The 6s/6c is such a versatile razor.

Another great video. Been using the Rockwell 6c for about 4 months now. It's my go to for my face and sometimes for my head. I use the Leaf on my head because I just want to mow 4 days of growth quickly. I think you should consider doing a brush review. I have three badger brushes, and a synthetic. All Simpsons. Spent hundreds of dollars on the badger brushes. Got my first boar hair brush. Semogue 2000, and I'm in love with this brush. I've done about 9 shaves with it, and I don't think I'll go back to the badger ones for a while. I think I paid around $30.00 for this brush, and I love it. Give boars hair a shot. They're fairly cheap. Feels great on the skin. At least I think so.

As I wrote earlier, I love the Henson AL13 mild (enhanced version), the Twig is awesome as well. Good having them for variation. But indeed, the Rockwell 6C...it is so unbelievable good. Built like a tank.. yes. Plate 6.. no. I use Plate 3 for WTG and XTG but then flip it and use Plate 1 for ATG and any cleanups. Great shave!

Hello there , I’ve been watching your channel quite a while and I see that you use that razor pretty often . I can see why is your favourite option but I am struggling while using the 6s model . I mean I e tried all plates until 4 with kind of different blades soaps creams and I’m getting some kind of irritations and nicks…can you give me a tip or idk I’m starting regretting my Rockwell 6s investment .

The 6S is not as smooth as the less expensive 6C. I would focus on your technique. To hone in on your skill. Let the razor do the work by not pressing down. Finding the right plate with different blades is my key to success.
