In the phone Settings scroll to the bottom of the screen and select Software Update. It will find the latest update available. If you have the S10 and don't see these features the update should be out in the next few weeks.

I had been following along great until the part of adding the music. i selected the free licensed music option but your tutorial did not show exactly how to get that on to the video. in your video, you selected music from your own library...how can i select the music from the free license and get it on the video? it does not give me the option to add that on to my video...please help!

You can't download music from KZbin music. There are some free songs you can download from KZbin in KZbin Studio on the right side menu.

So I'm using a Note 10+ now and from the start I always got the regular, basic video editor that only allowed me to trim videos and I wondered why. Turns out I can't use the better editor because I set up the phone to shoot video in the HDR10+ format which apparently isn't compatible with that fancy new editor... Once again I have to choose one feature over the other. I want to shoot at 4K 60 fps but then I can't use video stabilization. I want to use the video editor but then I can't take advantage of the HDR 10+ display. For a device that is supposed to be so great and powerful I sure have to live with some limitations...

When you have more views, KZbin automatically let your video play at higher bitrate. Basically if you are not big your video is not going to look great unfortunately

Yep! Just hold down on one clip till the check boxes pop up. Check the other clip, then select menu and Create then Movie. Then save and they will be put together.

So I just watched the video and I don't have any of the extra options like you show. If I tap the 3 dots, tap editor all I get is the option to trim the length of the video, nothing else. And if I tap several video's and then create movie it tells me it's unable to do it and the format isn't supported? I record in MP4 format?

I don't see an option for that either. All you can do is add an effect to each video clip. You could also try Adobe Rush for that.

I could really use some help. I am using the Editor on a Galaxy S10. I film for Instagram Stories at "Full" resolution which is 2288x1080. If I crop a video in the editor, I can not save it as 2288x1080. The highest resolution I can save it at is 1920x1080. Unfortunately, this will leave black bars on the left/right side of the video. Does anyone know how to edit the video and save it at the original resolution of 2288x1080 using the Editor? Or will I need to try other software?

A while ago I got the Android 10 upgrade on my Galaxy S9. After that I was able to install the Samsung Video Editor app which seems to have similar functionality then the one I remember from my S6. On Android 9 on the Galaxy S9, video editing was limited to just trimming 10 second clips. But now I seem to have a full fledged video editor back. What's your experience with this?

I got an update a few weeks ago for my S10+ ( Verizon ) that said the new video editor was supposed to be included. However I can't seem to find it anywhere, is this something that'll show up when we get Android 10 or the 2.0 UI or whatever it is?

@@TechWithBrett Nope, all I get is the option to share or delete the videos. And when I'm playing a video, if I tap the screen, all I get is the progress bar, ffw/play/rewind. There's not even an option to use the editor unless I hit the 3 dots in the upper right corner. And then it's not the new editor. The update was Oct 29 ( I checked ) and it says the new editor was supposed to be added.

Create two new videos by trimming the end off one copy and the begging off the other, then use the video editor to stitch the two clips back together. Simples, but it does require some lateral thinking
