Hey Ryan I have an 18 tradesman cummins and it has all the auxiliary switches under radio that are pre wired. You just tap into the harness by break booster and I am told they are programmable for ignition or power all the time. I also am planning on add fog lights. Might do the nav upgrade as you are about to do also.

Love the new garage Bud! And you actually do not have to take the glass out of the door and take it clear apart. I did a set of handles for a guy and you can look it up and find out where exactly but you can drill a 1/2 hole in the inner door plastic and actually get to the bolts for the handles. 110% easier and 10x faster.

Hey Ryan. Buy More shelves make a room out of the shelves for the bathroom and plywood the back of the shelves. So when you’re out in the garage you could still use the shelving It’ll just have plywood on the back of it and a bathroom on the other side. Or if you bye enough to go across the whole back the whole back wall of your shells behind the shelves you’ll have the bathroom and possibly a small office

You should put a couch in the back corner, that way if you need to take a break from working you have a comfy place to sit, or if you’re working really late you can take a nap before driving home if you need to

In most cases the harness should be there since it’s easier to have a universal harness in all trucks and add from there. Hope you luck out and it’s there.

You should check out Phoenix Automotive vertical radios. Would look sick in this truck. It maintains factory heat/AC controls and you can add Car Play or Android Auto .

If you want to keep the factory function to the headlight controls, download alfaobd. You can unlock sooooo many functions in your truck drls, fog lights, basically what the dealer uses to program our trucks

I just added similar fog lights. They mount with m6 fender nuts and m6 bolts 10mm heads. Super easy. Local auto parts stores have them.

Ryan.....I did the conversion on my 2019 Tradesman from the 5.5” radio to the 8.4” system......it went easy and fast......I think you’ll like it.....mine was also from infotainment and they will buy hour old radio back if it is in good condition with no issues.....it’s on their website check it out

The fogs have a bolt set up that has push pins on both ends with an adjustment screw on the bottom end. You’ll probably have to get those. That saying with my experience with my 2012 half ton. You’ll have to check for the Cummins setup

Run your fog lights to your headlight fuse, it’ll turn on with your lights, highs and lows, it’ll be better and less drainage for the battery and less probability for the fog light to blow, better to replace a fuse that costs $8.00 for 20 fuses than 80 bucks for a new fog light

Ryan, does the fan level make a difference on how it functions on the new bezel? Ram has different trim models that have a 4 speed fan level or blower level, and a 7 speed level. I was told that if the truck comes with a either a 4 or 7, the new bezel has to be identical for it to function right. Is that ture?
