For anyone thinking about Grilla, read the Amazon reviews, these are crap. They do not hold temps. I didn't know that, just received my grill and it will swing from 40-60 degrees above set temp for no reason. Don't waste your money. Customer service keeps telling me try new pellets, I think the controller is junk. Why didn't I buy the RecTeq like I planned to do, I got suckered by a sale, but I regret this purchase.

Does a magnet stick to any of the SS parts?

Denali, no sir, I've check all SS parts with a very strong magnetic, none stick! Claims to be 304, I believe it...

Do the pellets in the pellet grills ever take on moisture if they are left in the hopper for an extended period? If so, I assume they wouldn't burn as good. Is this an issue if the grill is outside with a cover on?

If you mind dropping another $500+ check out blaz'n grills. 100% made in the u.s.a. and they have thought of everything. Built to last. Made of 1/4 inch steel. I am saving up for that one. If all else fails and can't come up with the extra money, I will get the silverbac.

The knob on the pellet dump door does it have a magnet so when you lift it up it sticks to the hopper? I this on another pellet grill and thought it was a neat feature.

Wicked sweet, New England? Can you buy upgraded grill racks? Like the dimond ones like the Yoders have?

Digging the internal bottom rack tweaks. I'm paranoid about breaking the RTD while I'm scrubbing my rack because of the back and forth slide.
@johnbazyk99766 жыл бұрын
Tim Daughrity they’re great tweaks for sure. They show Grilla is actually listening to people.

How difficult is it to clean??? Also how many cooks can you do before you have to clean the unit?

Beautiful grill but from what I can see there is no stainless burn pot, no PID controller, and most important no open flame feature. I would be more than happy to pay for these additional features. Like I said this is most definitely a beautiful and well built grill. Just my 2 cents.

Is there a grill that has everything you've mentioned?
@KapinKrunch6 жыл бұрын
Very sweet indeed John! I currently own a grilla, lately I've really been wanting to get a Silverbac to go with it to keep her company. I'm in your Grilla Facebook group and it's great by the way.

I wanted the Grilla silverbac pellet grill but just couldn't afford it ,so I bought a Kenmore pellet grill and it looks identical to the Silverbac

I’ve had a few pellet grills now and know to be careful with the grates. Great video and NSB and OSB cookoff should be interesting. I’d be willing to bet they will be exactly the same.

You mentioned a gasket on the stack. The old Silverbac comes with the same gasket. The difference is the new stack has an extended lip that protrudes inside the chamber.
