The NEW Special Purple Tyranid

Painting this special warhammer Tyranid Termagant for my next space marine kitbashing project. Should be out soon, ill be sure to link it to this video once it's available.

Thank you! I don't have any noise marines on hand, but I will look around and see if I can find a CSM or something similar. No promises though, I'm quite terrible at keeping a memory on these things 😅

I’m not the best painter but I have purple nids too. I use luxion purple for the body and morghast bone with sepia contrast paint for the carapace, all citadel paints. My psychophage also has a doom fire magenta mouth, looks cool to me at least

I go with just straight mephiston red for the skin and then gal vorbak and screamer pink dry brushed on the carapace, and using wazdakka red for the guns. Your tyranids look dope tho

that looks amazing, similar to my fleet I just love purple so did some with a black base coat and some with a white base coat just for some variety because they're insectoid (kinda) and when was the last time you saw a clone beetle. :P

@@tomroach5647 On the small tyranid there was a blue light at the start that was reflecting on the surface while the paint was wet., It could possibly be that. alternatively you could use liquitex dioxazine purple it has a much colder and saturated hue than royal purple.

😄That's an awesome idea. Biggest issue would be all the colors I ended up mixing, I think I used only 4 paints for most of it ( Purple, red, orange and white). I'll see if there's enough footage to put something together, I usually record a lot less for shorts to make it faster. It might be better to not set expectations, I'm honestly terrible at following through on these things, but I will try.
