If you remember the old stories from the Journal of Justice, Urtistan was destroyed during an attack from another Kingdom ( i am not sure if it was Noxus , but its drfinotely not Shurima). However, this army did not dare attack Zilean's Tower as they are aware of the mages power. So they left it alone whie they destroy the rest of the place. Zilean, on the other hand, was trapped in time at that moment, and is not aware that time passed outside.. when he went out, Urtistan was already destroyed. By changing his lore, i think they ahould also change his skins. He had an Urtistan skin to connect him to his origina. But as that is part of the old lore, it has to be changed. Possibly Icathia Zilean?

I belive all these lores related to the void or even the darkins are like a teaser for something bigger then this. Most of them feel like those from Runeterra are just preparing for a big war vs the void. If Riot is indeed moving the story forward, maybe one day they will say that a second Rune Wars is happening: Runeterra vs the Void, or something like that.

I really wanted Zilean to tie in to Ekko in some way. One has frozen time and cannot unfreeze it, but has gained omnipotence. The other can rewind time on a limited scale but has to experience each possible outcome personally. It makes sense that together they'd be able to figure out how to undo what has been done both for Zileans countrymen and Ekko's friend Arjuna.

Where Icathia once stood. It was one of the stories I have no time to read, until this day(17-07-2019). I've read that story and It was stimulating imagination indeed.
