Great to see one of these in the water. Good looking boat but for me, the Predator class trumps it. Also really interesting to see/hear insights into the IPS vs shaft. Would definitely like to see more content as you suggested on this theme.

It’s aSunseeker. The only criticism is the bar across the helm windscreen. You will be ever looking over and under it to see what’s ahead. I know the top section opens, but I could do without that. Otherwise superb.

It's probably more obvious with the covers up (which to be honest is not how the boat is really designed to be used), guess it's a compromise between a small (but useless) low screen or being able to get some airflow through the cockpit but still hunker down under the glass if needed.

Very nice boat , how come you drew the short straw and only got to go to Swanick ? Is the 55 the shortest boat they build now ? Yes the bar across the windscreen would drive one mad , better to make the wind screen higher . Thanks for the video .👍

Swanwick is my home marina (where we keep a lot of the stock/boats in pdi) so just a local run back on this one. Got something a little longer planned which will go live this weekend. Yes she is now the smallest in our range.

The light reflecting off windscreen would be a big issue for me. I would not be able to drive it.

It probably looks worse in the camera than real life, as I don't notice it when underway.

Is the engine noise actually that intrusive, or is the microphone making it seem worse?

It's my hugely over-sensitive mic. You can obviously overhear them running but it's not an uncomfortable noise (the exhausts are actually tuned for a certain sound, like a performance car)

@@sharonbraselton3135 You are entitled to your opinion, personally I wouldn’t enjoy my boat in the winter if I had to wear a big coat all the time because I had an open boat and second I don’t want my toilet in the shower with me, for me the Predator would solve both those issues.
