The old Japanese vans used to have a sunken shower tray in the floor with a panel over it, all you would need is a shower curtain to hang up and you keep the shower and also benefit from the space.

Awww, I have had a 1985 One Ten for 10 years and have plans to make it a camper, but only in her current shape. She has the 12J engine and a top speed of 5Omph downhill with the wind behind her, and the turning circled a supertanker (no power steering) but we all love her. Have fun! 🤩
