Power banks are an expensive item and the only reviews I'd take seriously would be ones where the reviewer had used them over a long period of time and been able to assess their ability to charge from DC and solar and power a number of gadgets in a variety of situations. There's far too many Vanlifers who say how wonderful a product is without giving it a rigorous test. Well done, Liam. They sound like a really shite franchise.

This highlights a few issues. 1. The push for companies to get a review (usually on their terms) out as quickly as possible, regardless of what the product is. I've seen so many reviews from YT that suggest a "thing" is amazing and they have had it for a day or two. You are correct in wanting to have the product for a decent time in order to make a more in-depth review. 2. The lack of contract between you and the company; this again is something that I've seen loads of times. There is an implied TCs that company gives you something and expect a [good] review in return. 3. If you are not going to make a review then you should send it back or arrange collection, but again that would depend on the exact TCs in #3 4. I totally believe you are correct regarding Bluetti; I've had a nightmare with them over the summer in getting a product from them, then collecting it and waiting several weeks for a full refund. Not a company I'd choose again. @BlackBeltBarrister - this is a good topic to look at for a video.

Ive just had a 2500w powerstation delivered. It was 100% charged. 1st use it ran out in 6 hours using a tv at 100w. Looked at the pamphlet to find.out its not lifepo4 as claimed, but ion phosphate. Ad also claimed to recharge over 1000w on Ac in 1 hour, it doesnt. Doubt i will keep it. Allpowers R2500.

Having done many years in retail, working with sales reps etc, this is a very bizarre story! No wonder you’re freaked out by it, like wtf!!! 😂. I did buy and have been using a AC200MAX, it’s working well runs my diesel heater, fridge etc but I’ve never had anything to compare it to. I did get it a bit cheaper than it’s ever been on sale but it wasn’t free sadly 😊. It works in my limited space I have. Be interesting if you get a follow up response, I’ll go grab some popcorn 🍿
