Sorcerer King Ainz is insanely busted. Icame back from 3/0 and my opponent was at 1/1 and was able to steal the win. Some lucky cancels helped, but the consitant healing and burn each turn that I had the climax really pushed it.

Since it's well established that this deck is strong, what then are the weaknesses of this deck? What sets are recommended to play to fight against this?

The major weakness is denying the level 1 combo by being bigger than it, and removing the level 0 Ainz when it's in frontrow. SAO Alice can do both of these things, theyre bigger and the shuffle back on the 1/0 Alice can remove the level 0 Ainz.

The new weakness is that as of Jan 2024, Sorcerer King Ainz (the 1/1 card) is now on the perma-ban list..... So you won't be up against any decks like this anymore.

@@kixmachina_tcg You are right. However with how powerful the card is and seeing as how JP banned it, many players seem to be making decks without it as they're all anticipating it being banned. You can find many decks like that on "encoredecks" that have descriptions stating just so. So it's kind of a use it while you can (if you want) or just embrace that no one will most likely be allowed to use it now instead of later.
