Im a man, and i absolutely love this fragrance. I've gotten many compliments in the past 2 weeks of wearing it on my errand runs. Smell lasts long as well. Money well spent.

This was love at first sniff for me.. As soon as I smelled it in showroom, I got a 50 ml of it. Then when I wore it for first time, I fell in love more, and got another 100 ml back up bottle. It's the most beautiful aquatic scent I have smelled, and its performance is beastly.. I easily get 7-8 hours on skin, and lasts for days on clothes. Sprayed it on my jacket, and It still smelled like oud minerale after 2 weeks. to me it smell like how a Wall Street guy would smell like coming out of his Lamborghini, this perfume smells like luxury

I tried it once, didn't like it. I tried it again and waited for it to dry down and I'm loving it. If I had money right now I'd get it.

Monika, discovering this scent was an interesting journey. I first heard about six months ago. I was intrigued when I read about the sea notes and I wanted to at least test it. Once I found it in the mall in Portugal, I sprayed it on a test strip. My first impressions, I was taken back because it's such a unique mix of olfactory I have never experience before. My first thoughts were "fresh, salty, seaweed, masculine, certainly unique but which direction is the Oud notes going to go?" I don't typically like excessively strong OUD notes. In my experience with this fragrance is quite smooth whilst sprinkling in the salty notes! After waiting a bit for it to die down on the test strip, It smelled good enough for me to apply to my skin. I wore it in the mall for a few hours. I would get whiffs of the scent and it kept improving with the drydown on my skin. When I went home, my wife confirmed she loved the scent! Fast forward another month and I search for a larger sample but could only find a decant 2ml of the 2017 version. I got a hold of that and it's been good but it's off the market for the most part. Everytime I went back to that mall I would go get some more test sprays on my skin and the experience was consistently the same. So today, I went for it and bought the 100ml bottle. Ironically, in Tom Ford's marketing they show a surfer coming out of the water. I have been surfing for 20+ years and I agree some of the notes in this fragrance mimic the scents of being on the ocean near a reef or beach break. There's also the scent of my skin and hair after a surf (salty, seaweed, marine, fresh) . This fragrance amplifies those notes and then some. I think the Oud note is well done and not overstated. When I wore this scent it triggered really good memories of some of the best surf experiences I have had around the world. Not a bad trigger to experience! I really like how unique this fragrance is! Did you get your husband to wear it?

The dry down is beautiful, but compared to the old bottle.. this is weaker in projection and I feel this is more woody and harsher than the previous bottle.. overall it’s a great scent

Great review. Picked this up a few weeks back, and I totally love it! Aquatic marine with a pinch of oud in the background. A real gem. Smells similar to Anthony 1 Eau de Parfum, if you know that one.

I never thought I'd like a salty fragrance until I tried Xerjoff 40 Knots and immediately bought a bottle. I need to try this and see if I like it as well.

I bought this while I was in Spain. It's perfect by the sea. When I got back ti the UK, it had a different effect. Took me a couple of sprays to adjust to it but I love it

Can't go wrong with anything from Tom Ford...my absolute favorite is Ombré Leather Parfum which exudes complex, refined & luxurious notes ✨

I think it's great! Not funky and artsy as people on Fragrantica says. Maybe not mass appealing . But versatile and easy to wear

Thank you for the review Monika. I have come to the conclusion that Estee Lauder seems determined to run the Tom Ford fragrance brand into the ground since acquisition recently... weakened reformulations..as well as ANOTHER recent price hike on their fragrance line.. jmo... I'll invest my hard earned dollars with a niche.🤷🏻‍♂️

Tried it at Sophera and loved it the first time. The second time however it seemed too leathery and musky. Not sure it get this. I’m thinking the guy might like it, but not a woman smelling it on a guy.

I’ve gotten few compliments from random women and I’ve only worn this a few times. Y’all do the math.& ALL I can say is I shoulda got the small one..🤷🏼‍♂️ as minimal spray = eternal longevity

As shown in the slow motion shot of the spray atomizer in action,.. it barely puts out a micro dose puff with good reason. This is meant to be applied very delicately . FOR AMAZING RESULTS .. spray 1-2 shots directly in front of you and walk into and through the mist AND STOP ✋🏼 .. walk away trying to leave the scent behind you . Walk as far away as possible in in the house make full circle come back to the room you applied it in,… and Thank me later 👌

I just laugh my ass at people honestly. This smells exactly like a weaker version of "Dsquared 2 wood for him". I tried them side by side, since it immediately reminded me if Dsquared and its very very similar, with Dsquared being slightly brighter and more citrusy. Slightly. But Dsquared has much better projection and better longevity. I just love all the snobs gere that call it a masterpiece just because its tom ford. Its like those guys that will admire a fart of paint if you say some famous painter drew it. Masses will be masses i guess...
