Thank you Paul! Thank you Cliff! The less side play in the wheel, should result in more accurate tracking adjustments. These Toolchers are really well made, mostly tool grade stainless steel, which is very hard and rigid.

Use an m10 washer, and put it on the other side of the wheel…takes out all the play and everything is solid…

I like to manually spin the drive wheel with my hand in the desired direction when switching belts or going from edge leading to edge trailing to make sure the tracking is good before turning it on. It has helped me avoid jamming the belt into the angle guide on numerous occasions. Awesome stuff Paul and thanks for showing off the new wheel!

I've learned a lot from watching you and Cliff. I do have a question. When I try to use it with the platen, knife jumps off te belt. Is it because of the belt joint ? And how do I fix this problem. Thanks.

Unfortunately I did try to communicate with Cliff to see if he ship to Canada a week ago and never heard back from him. I would have loved the new Toolcker wheel too. Since I needed the belts I had no choice but to order some Blaze and Red Label fine from Amazon since Cubitron and Trizact belts only sells in 200 pack belts which runs at around $1,500 plus 12% sales tax. 3 different grit would run me over $5.000. We really get screwed here in Canada.

well you can use my other method with a wen wheel it works better than the stock tracking wheel

@@ALXSHARPEN Indeed i will have to go that route. For the time being I am using electrical tape like Paul did at the beginning. It works pretty good but it is just a temporary patch. I like that Toolcker by the way. I think overall it is well made and I have no complaint. We all have to modify or personalize any grinder to suit our needs anyway, a wondering belt is not a huge issue at this time but as production increase I would love to get this variable out of the way.

Mine came with a spacer, but I needed an additional m10 washer on the wheel side, and a couple on the nut side, to make the spacing correct and to get the nut completely onto the axle threads. I think Paul had a link in one of his videos to the m10 washers on Amazon…

Unfortunately, not all the Toolckers arbor sizes are the same. I bought the wheel and it is not going to fit. Bummer.

@ALXSHARPEN Cliffs. The bolt shaft and Toolcker wheel hole are much smaller than yours and the inner diameter of Cliffs wheel. If you buy those arbor reduction kits, it would be close to the smallest size, but metric. Maybe close to a 3/8" arbor size. I'd have to check.

@@grantlauinger8663 my solution uses a different wheel bearing size that still fits the Wen wheel but you have to swap out the bearing Cliff should be the correct size but you are the first person I have heard from who said the have a different arbor size. Please measure it and let me know also is your machine a True Toolcker or is it a look a like ? There are many that look like it but are a little different most of the Toolcker have it on the plate and stand in front it says Toolcker. Send me some pictures of you units to @[e-mail]

@@ALXSHARPEN it says Toolcker on the name plate, but I suppose that doesn't mean they are all assembled with the exact same parts. I've seen many sellers. I'll send you some pics.

@@grantlauinger8663 we have seen variations but you are the first to say you have a different arbor size for the wheels that won’t make Cliff happy if it’s a new run of different arbor he just had his wheels made and that part has been consistent.
