Scout rifles still are super demanding on getting the right engagement ranges. In fact this gun model for Aisha used to be for a high-impact scout back in forsaken so it's definitely not that snappy or versatile in general. Alacrity helps but it's still a legendary scout

@@SirDimetrious I fuckin love this scout. So many people were using it in trials last weekend and it worked really well for my on that map. I eventually landed on running double primaries with the Aisha’s and an auto rifle just to cover the ranges I needed.

@@lolopigus I agree smg would be better, but depending on the auto rifle and the role, it could work. Also depending on what the player is most comfortable with, which is one of the most important things. I probably wouldn't go with a high impact auto or a precision auto for sure. MAYBE an adaptive 600, but I think a rapid-fire 720 auto would probably be best. A good roll of Chroma Rush can do some work. Or you could take a page out of TV's book and use a sidearm. Those can be fun lol.

I feel like this problem could be solved if they had just kept the scope rolls from D1. Yeah it would add yet another layer of rolls that you’d have to worry about, but nothing felt better than being able to change the scope to one that you actually liked. I remember when a Shortgaze Longbow, LDR and 1k Stare were all the rave back in D1 for top tier PvP snipers. But if you didn’t like Shortgaze scopes, you could swap it out with a different option out of 3 different scope rolls.

There is a cool warlock build that gives you one shot magnetic grenades. Its verity's brow, voidlock, feed the void, child of old gods, mag nade, echo of expulsion, instability, persistence, and undermining, with a void weapon. Its a lot of fun and would recommand

I ended up getting a we ran with this weapon on Eternity, but that’s about the most I’ve used this thing… I completely agree with the fact that most maps just don’t have the ideal ranges to use scouts, the only 2 maps I can think of that you can use scouts on consistently are widows court and eternity. I think that’s why I’ve been enjoying Eternity as a whole map lately because I think it’s a map where long range weapons have breathing room, ie. Scouts and snipers. Fantastic vid, loving the switch up with raw gameplay and the commentary combined. It’s working well :)

midtown, vostok, jav-4, fortress, eternity, bannerfall, altar of flame, and widows court. there's quite a few maps that the rapid fire scouts can thrive on if you're in the right area. the main issue in general though is if you want to use a scout you just have to pray you play these maps because half the maps are just too small for long range primary battles and the issue with that is. well nobody wants spend time kitting themselves to use a scout then have to swap all their weapons and mods again the second they get thrown on a map where the scouts aren't that viable. just too much of a hassle to be constantly swapping loadouts when there's other weapons that are viable on every map

Funny enough on midtown last week I was getting frustrated with my inability to hit snipes so I put on contingency plan. When we went flawless I got one of these and figured I would love it. Did not turn out to be the case, the zoom kills it for me

I may be wrong, but I have heard that alacrity applies even when you’re going into a team-based activity but queueing solo. So I think you can have alacrity proc while in Control

Fyi, the alacrity perk is still active in 6v6, as long as you run solo. Its active in pretty much everything except for stuff like strikes that puts you in a fireteam

Dog, get one with adagio. 1 kill makes it shoot as fast as a MIDA, have three tap potential, AND lasts longer than kill clip. The slower rpm might make it easier for you to rein in your shots or so I’ve found.

I can second this, I got an Adept one with Adagio and Triple Tap. Slapped an Adept Counterbalance on for 100 recoil direction and it is a beast, now one of my favorite weapons.

This scout rifle got me to go grind trials. I got to rank 16 for the messenger they were giving out and I got a range mw triple tap eots roll(as the one I kept). Let me tell you something tho, In the raid Aisha’s is goated, ad clear, symbol spamming, crux shooting, bee killing. I’m glad I got it and I’m glad I was able to get it.

You should do a max mobility build Hunter with Frosteez and invis. Just dodge and you go mach 5, which subsequently recharges your dodge before the speed buff even ends.

Definitely more of a PvE weapon, but I have a soft spot for the 260rpm Scouts. Contingency Plan feels like a better PvP weapon for sure. Aisha's feels great with Void 3.0 and Volatile though, plus Scouts are an Anti-Barrier weapon.

Imo Scholar is better in pvp. Contingency Plan is the only scout of this frame I actually don't mind, but the Scholar I bought off Xur last season shredded in most maps and modes I tried it in.
