You are right. It's all bidding less now but focusing on those more promising jobs. I closed Seven jobs in past two weeks. Because I figured out how to trigger best match badge. Unfortunately that ain't working anymore. The algorithm probably figured what I was doing

I am not sure that algorithms play a big role here. If your cover letters are actually good, you will get a good conversion.

Hi, Logo designer here, I noticed a massive use of AI from clients too, I always use an IA detector before submitting, you will not believe how many AI job posts there are, better skip them since most of them aren't taking the job seriously or don't give enough informations about the task (just like we used to AI proposals lol), it's like you have to put money for a chance to see if you like the task or even qualify, it will also avoid you falling into scams that are now leveling up the game by having fake reviews. I followed your videos from the beginning back then, at the time I only used upwork from time to time, thanks for the videos, you're not helping newcomers only.

@greengreen3370 Thanks for this comment! I certainly consider evaluating the job post as critical, but I hadn't considered the job posts themselves as being AI written! And yes, if so, avoid them!

@@rickboyerdev you welcome, i remember there was a built-in AI in Upwork for clients, when they use it it displayed "job post created with AI" they removed the tag now due to the massive lack of engagement from freelancers I think, I relised that when I started noticing a lor of similarities between various job posts, here's a fresh AI generated post I found right now: We are seeking a talented and creative logo designer who can craft a distinctive brand identity. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create innovative and eye-catching logos.
