Alright lads, the Fortnite footage has been taken around the back chemical sheds and shot! Got a lot of negative feedback regarding the background Fortnite footage on the video. Thought it was probably best to re-upload it with some classic Dawn of War games instead I have not deleted the old video, just unlisted it, so none of the previous discussion has been lost incase people wanted to continue it

Wait can chimera really have lascannon firing from it deck? Sound weird huh? Also does it still get a heavy buff even though the one that move is a chimera?

@@internetuser320 when embarked you can use the firing deck rule to add the chosen weapon profiles to the transport, if it then moves the heavy rule wouldn't apply. Interestingly (Please some one correct me if I am wrong) but you could embark a model into a transport, but that transport 'remains stationary' the heavy +1 to hit applies. (along with any orders or abilities on the transport)

The crassus looks cool. 35 transport capacity, tough as nails and gives rerolls to wound against something it shot for it's passengers like the taurox prime

tank commander, a krieg marshal, 6 chimera, 2 battle tanks, 2 demolishers, and 6 10 man infantry is 1930pts. leaves room for extra if wanted :)

With weak orders ive found the best way to make guard work is to take models which dont require orders. Im talking hellhounds, manticores and normal russes.

@MordianGlory : perhaps you don't consider that running a 20 vehicles spam, even if 6 are flyers, i think is not so viable with the actual battlefield dimensions. Tables are smaller and overcrowd by ruins which vehicles cannot pass through creating narrow passages that the opponent can use to tarpit especially with assault terminators or normal ones. At The moment i think guard is thrown back to 8th edition before the first balance data slate; losing splash orders really undermine the faction and the combined regiment says, in glowing huge letters, "BUY ARTILLERY AND SENTINELS, WE HAVE WAREHOUSES FULL OF THEM"😁

Great point! If competitive boards continue with loads of ruins then vehicle spam could struggle. We will have to see how the meta evolves! :)

I was shocked at just how effective a dual superheavy list was. If only I had read the benefits of the Infantry Squad... I would have been able to put 2 techpriests in the same squad (one of the superheavies was a Stormlord (the second was a Banesword))...

I alway spam the Cadian command squad with the tactical requisitionary and the advanced training to combo the command Basically I can order 2 command and all the regimental order type

I’m nervous about flyers - you need to get some printed and test if they work in 10th. All the ground pounding stuff feels less speculative.

Add in some Armiger Warglaives or Heleverins. Get some base BS3 shooting save some orders. Melta and Combat or some nice autocannons

Was about to say the same. If you're wanting cheaper armour than Russ's, Armigers at 140/145pts are certainly worth a consideration, especially with the OC they bring compared to regular guard armour, even some Anti-Fly possibility for those Eldar skimmers.

@@Faiythe thier mobility and 5++ is particularly nice .Even better if you match up against Magnus, Mortarion , those pesky Hammerheads or even some flying Nids. I do like warglaives though. Their high damage and AP really bumps Gaurd melee.

These videos work well without actually having to watch and that's what I usually do. Had to check my second monitor twice because I got confused about your voice on fortnight footage lol. Reupload wasn't necessary imo.

Dont feel obligated to have to reupload your hard work especially with how the youtube algorithm works just because some winy people complain about Fortnite in their Warhammer video. Have any gameplay you want and play what you enjoy, no one has any right to tell you otherwise and anyone in the community that outcryed and really had that much of a problem about it should be ashamed.

Been considering starting up a death korps army w/ a platoon command squad (w/ marshal), commissar, 3 krieg squads and rhe mars alpha leman russ, but $500 is a bit much. But those rerolls on that battle cannon tank make it seem like it doesn't really need orders, does it?

multiple people had some pretty strong reactions to it (unreasonably imo). In my personal opinion it does take a bit away from the vids in comparison to DOW. Not because fortnight bad, but because DOW is thematic

@@Adlore That's sad and elitest. Especially since I heard the reasoning of the footage is due to the 2 of them having only some spare time to play together.
