Firstly his Ex came after all other characters when he was introduced before all of them in the anime. Second, Ex WB was meta for 1-2 months only. This clearly shows how much bandai devs respect him, in the current meta almost everyone has status nullification and without status his existence is futile, I mean what kind of Ex only depends upon a single thing to make his actions useful.
