I just got into Hot Toys Star Wars this year and I’ve abandoned all other figure lines. Nothing beats the quality of Hot Toys. Expensive but well worth it.

I still do statues (Sideshow mainly) but I have like 20 Hot Toys figures in that I bought in the last 2 years, everything from Mandalorian to Iron Man with the die cast suit which is super high quality. I just grabbed the new Deadpool and Wolverine Deluxe editions too. They are too good to pass up. Also 2 of my favs were the Let there be Carnage both Venom and Carnage figures but they are PRICEY.

If you're afraid of posing, just watch some of the Hot Toys collector videos and you'll find some REALLY nice poses to copy and they look great with their dynamic stands with the 'flight' poles etc. Check out some of the Iron Man ones especially, or Mandalorian. They have some really sick flying or "Jet Pack" type of poses.

I've gravitated towards Hot Toys over statues in the last year one b/c of price but you really get the best bang for buck. You're not stuck with whatever the pose comes with a statue. I never realized that they used such premium materials like suit materials or Venom symbiote 'material'. Like you see his bare arms? Thats skin material (silocone) and the skeleton is under that. That's NOT plastic. You'll also notice that Hot Toys is doing a lot of 2.0 versions of their figures b/c they have advanced their technology so much so they can so much better than the figures they did 3-4-5 years ago. Like for example, with this Wolverine or Deadpool they will use actual SUIT materials like high quality flexible rubbers, vinyl or plastics. It's crazy that the suit isn't the body because you still have his skeleton UNDERneath the suit and it's completely poseable in any style you want. Its insanity. Look at their venom and carnage from the last movie. They're even more money but insanely detailed and Carnage is almost 20" tall. I still collect Statues but once I got my first Die Cast Iron Man 2.0 figure by Hot Toys, I've been sold. Their Mandalorian in Beskar armor is SOOOO sick too. Their stuff is awesome. I have the Deadpool and the Wolverine Deluxe on preorder, as well as some of the Spidermans from the Spiderman 2 PS5 game (Black suit, Advanced suit and Miles Morales). Hot Toys is SICK, you should definitely do more of these.

I DOPO'd 2 deluxe versions. This is my boy. I'm gonna have one posed up with my MCU collection, and one posed with Cap and Widow to recreate the Uncanny cover. This hits so many buttons. First time seeing Hugh in a proper Wolverine suit. Wolverine and Deadpool together in live action finally like we wanted them. Wolverine's induction into the MCU. Perfection.

Being a collector of statues for the last few years and have quite a collection which im very proud of, 1/4th and a few 1/3rds now but had a mate at work recently buy the battle damaged iron man hot toy figure which just blew me away in terms of realism. Might have to start looking at hot toys abit more,this is a pretty cool piece,and hey their a way cheaper Hobbie as opposed to statue collecting!

Not really 'so much' anymore. Venom and Carnage are like $500 and most of Sideshows statues average about $650 these days. They're catching up quick but Hot Toys has stepped up its quality (like Sideshow) in the last few years.

Ever since 3D printing came out hot toys and the other makers the head sculpts are just amazing. TBH I prefer the brown and yellow suits. I love the wolverine film. When he's on the 1:29 private jets at the end and he opens the box up. And you see the helmets and there's gloves or gauntlets however you want to say it

Hot Toys is masterclass with portraits. Hopefully they're not using rubber for the arm texture. It looks great at first, but after some time, unless the rubber issues are fixed by now, it will tear while posed. Some Wonder Woman Hot Toys figures had this problem the last time I checked.

Had to get the Deluxe. I wanted to get a Hot Toys figure and this is it. I think the mask is going to be the film for like 2 seconds and we unsleeved with shoulders for a minute. I hope that for the next Wolverine they don't lose this focus. Don't pull a Spider-man and do something radically different just to be different. Sure do a brown suit version of this but this is pretty close to definitive with still room to grow.

the reason wolverine has long sleeves in Deadpool & wolverine is due to Hugh Jackman trying limit his exposure to the sun because of where he lives it is easy to get sun cancer. but this wolverine looks good
