Series 3 got cancelled because Alice Connor who played Hettie decided not to renew her contract for a third season as well as few other cast members as they began to age and they were becoming more interested in pursuing other roles.

Wish they continued Weidsister....by the time you get into it its the end of the season. It was good seeing Mildred grown up! (fyi...there is a rumor they are making a new one...but its just a rumor...and I don't know if its spin off...or continuation of this or the previous ones...ect.)

I was thinking the same thing, but she couldn't even practice the levitation spell on the apple. Her rocking spell probably would've sent baby Cressie flying out the window! lol
