Dublin is 5 hours ahead of NYC, so if it was turned on from 9 am to 9 pm in Dublin, it would be on in NYC from 4 am to 4 pm, and if it was on in NYC from 9 am to 9 pm, it would be on in Dublin from 2 pm to 2 am. It would be easier to have it on in NYC from 9 am to 4 pm, so it would be on in Dublin from 2 pm to 9 pm, but that would greatly limit the time it's on and probably not work with most people's schedules.
