Did you say “Dwight Howard?” I think he’d be great off the bench but I’m worried about his antics outside basketball. Knicks don’t need any distractions.

5:30 the thing is after McBride and Robinson there isn’t anyone really that can go off like that, for example, dvo, burks, bogdonovic, Quickley, etc and they had multiple aspects to their game not just streaky shooting. That’s why I was didn’t like morris leaving, hopefully tj warren becomes a good rotational player for us.

Already was stated, but Embiid is never healthy come playoff time, and Paul George isn't playoff p. At the end of the season if Mitchell is healthy, he matches up with Embiid and then Porzingis. Or, we can put KAT on Porzingis.. Come playoff time hopefully everyone's near healthy and everything clicks.

The argument that the Knicks would have competed with the Celtics in the playoffs because they dominated them in one regular season game is flawed. We saw a similar situation where Dallas dominated the Celtics in one game during the finals, but Boston still won the series easily in five games. While the Knicks might look like they match up well with the Celtics on paper, the reality is that Boston has a better backcourt and frontcourt. And I’d make the opposite argument that the celtics matchup well against the Knicks. Unless the Celtics suffer significant injuries, it’s hard to imagine a series between these two teams going beyond five games. The reality is that there’s not a single aspect of the game where the Knicks clearly outperform the Celtics.

i'm kind of looking at the knicks the same way when rockets tried to dethrown the KD warriors with harden and CP3, i give them 2 years to try and win a chip with these guys if they fail like the rockets did you slowly see the team start to dissolve with players going to other teams

We have lost DD/Burks/Bogdonavic off of last years team. We have no true shooters and no defensive centers. I would pump the brakes on Championship expectations for now. We maxxed out OG who hasn't had a full healthy season in years. Mitch will never play a full season again either. IF both OG and Mitch are out for the season by FEB/March , We are going no where.
@petergreen14924 ай бұрын
I don’t know what team you’ve been watching but four out the starting five shoot 40% from the three point range. Plus Miles McBride coming off the bench. So what you’re saying is not true.
@TKBKNY4 ай бұрын
@@petergreen1492also Tyler shot over 40 percent from 3 in college last year.
@DragonthornX4 ай бұрын
Yup. There is more risk to this year’s team. We don’t have the same depth and 1 key injury could spell the difference. I think overall the team is better though since you need another player who can go off on his own in the playoffs. The only player we had on that caliber last year was Brunson and DD to some extent. With KAT, teams can’t load up on Brunson and I think that’s what the team is banking on.
