The Bridges trade isn't why the Knicks lost Hartenstein. It was OG being greedy on his contract. He could've taken a bit less so they could resign Hartenstein.

@@ss5wil💯 it was the OG resigning that lost I Hart. But apparently the 76ers were offering that much for OG. But for offense and rebounding I think people forget Randle is coming back because we saw when it was just I Hart when everyone was injured vs the Pacers, I Hart numbers were worst than Randle, I Hart was -13 and -24 the last two games with all our injuries. Randle never had anything below -8 last playoffs (and that -8 was vs the Cavs in a game we won) and played better defensively vs the Heat whom we lost to.

They can't force him to do anything, and considering the way he's played, it needs to be (and will be) a request, not a demand. Also, he doesn't have to sign by Friday, he's eligible *to* sign on Friday.

Carmelo came to a team that wasn't even close to contender status, rather than Mikal arriving and taking us into contender status. We didn't dump valuable assets. We had 9 first round picks at our disposal, and we gave up 5. The whole point of accumulating those was to make a trade just like this.
