The conditional 2025 5th is the lower of the NYR or MIN pick, but I've seen some sites show that the higher pick was traded. Probably the lower pick.

Really hoping Laviolette puts Panarin Trochek Lafreniere as line 1. Kreider Mika Smith line 2. In my opinion that's a REALLY solid top 6. And hopefully Edstrom and Rempe make opening night roster

Sam Carrick may take some pressure off of Rempe if he's the one expected to do the fighting. Drury likes something about him. We'll need to watch and see.

I feel like Drury is thinking that this team is 2 wins away from getting to the cup. So, he didn’t need to make major moves. Just made a few tweaks. IMO, he’s dead wrong. We are NOT 2 wins away as NJ Devils just took the blueprint from Florida and revamped the team with all big, tough players and now we’re gonna have to deal with them all year long. Other teams got much better and I feel like we didn’t. Why are we not getting Defenseman? Imagine how unstoppable Shesterkin would be with only 20 shots on goal a game? He literally almost single-handedly got us to a cup by himself saving 40 + shots. They better not waste this guys prime. He’s the best goalie in the planet. Better than Hank was. This team and organization right now pisses me off. We’re in trouble next year!

I don't understand why Drury is not picking up the phone and trying to attain Rutger Mcgrotary. The kid is a beast. He will be cheap with ELC and will be a core part of the future. Send Kakko out the door, give a pick up and Call it a day. I really am head scratching at why no team is making the move

When people talk about splitting up Mika and Kreider , are they talking about swapping Kreider and Panarin or Mika and Trochek……because you can’t move one of them to the third line. I wouldn’t mind the Rangers taking a chance on JVR on a minimum salary….also Tarasenko is still available. If Trouba is moved they still need to add a d-man or maybe two.

Bo Groulx will hopefully provide some competition. I prefer Mackey or Scanlin and now that they've given Robertson a qualifying offer, they'll have a bunch of competition for Fitzgerald. If they move Trouba and move a player up, then Fitzgerald would be the replacement. Jones will likely play the right side unless they promote Fitzgerald.

I like Trouba and his grit, but I’ve seen enough to make me sick that he’s getting paid 8.5 million to play like that in the playoffs. NYR fans Civil war about Trouba, has no winners
