There's a difference between a great fighter and what I would call a champion. A great fighter would have to possess all of the ultimate attributes required to achieve greatness. You must be fast, powerful, tenacious, tough, a strong inner constitution, a profound willingness to consistently engage, and you must have that ultimate courage. We call it your fighting spirit. To know how to totally commit and always give 100 percent, we call that heart. Few fighters have that ultimate attribute.

I'm not putting anybody down; I'm pointing out the importance of developing the eye of a trainer. You must figure out what is singularly the most dominant principle that motivates you to train and to pursue becoming a champion. Few fighters can answer that question. Sadly, most trainers are unable to answer it for them. When a fighter is able to embrace that inner awareness, which answers this question, he will become unstoppable.

I am the one of the few martial artist that I know of who has trained in every country from Korea southward all the way to Australia. I have tried to make the standard and the status for that which a black belt stands to always represent a worthy accomplishment. I wish others would respect/follow this same rule. I do not expect more than a handful of martial artists to ever be able to duplicate my examples. However, I trust that some will be able to live in the light of dignity.

Arnab just don't do your job as a rebot. The gentleman at the end wanted to make a point-he asked repeatedly and politely to come in but you just completely ignored him. These guys were not politicians and so deserve more respect. Please have some sensitivity in your approach.

Who said military attack....that should be the last option to do so. We need to show the will to resolve the issue by tough decisions like investing in the infrastructure near border as Chinese have done. Show the military strength to them and solve the issue diplomatically. If then also nothing changes, then go for military action.

I had no great moments in the ring/street/octagon. I never enjoyed beating up another person. My greatest moment in martial arts was the day they promoted me to black belt in Okinawa. That was 5-years ago.

I have seriously never given this question any thought. To dignify my efforts and to be able to have been known to live with dignity would be my greatest attribute. I feel only us martial artists have ever accomplished that. I have never thought of myself as being a better street fighter in any respect. I know more today about how to avoid that kind of nonsense. I have nothing to prove by getting into a street altercation.

i think indian government hesitates to take action against china and if someone has noticed that if the same thing pakistan would have done then indian government reacts in aggressive way but against china they dont follow the same aggresive reactions.

In all sports, sportsmen and athletes evolve and become better from one decade to the next but martial artists are better coached, trained, healthier, bigger, faster, and stronger. Black belt to me means two things. One, you can fight, and two, you can teach. It's not based on how fast you are, how hard you hit, how much time and grade you've got, what style you're from, what grades you make in school, how much money you slip your instructor under the table, or how sharp your katas look.

Do you even know what you are talking about? Chinese martial arts consists of Wushu, Kung Fu, Tai Chi amongst others. Hence, it would be foolish for India to face any country.

I watch fighters like Rashad Evans. He's smart, trains hard, got good technique. He lacks that willingness to consistently engage, toughness, and what I call inner meanness. He lacks that intimidating presence, defense, good inside hand skills, ability to exercise angles, and inside turning skills. His response time when he counters is slow. He has few set-up skills. With any fighter on the planet, I could go on and on as I am now.
