Is this gen 2 or gen 3? I've seen reviews where gen 3 has a substantial improvement over gen 2

I bout this on Amazon from Nexigo and there is no way you can verify or know if you have a Gen 3 or Gen 2. This allows them to sell Gen 2 as Gen 3 for more money.
