Big ATH fan here too. I wouldn't say I enjoy his whole line tbh, but I'm quite fussy when it comes to darker or heavier fragrances. Really like his freshies a lot though, plus Adonis! Rather enjoy Hard Candy and Raw Cherry a little too. Tried plenty of others and the only one I didn't think was nice was Tabac. The others were nice but just not for me personally. Really great house, ATH knows what he's doing.

@Grey The only ones I've tried the both versions of are Guapo and Hard Candy. No idea if they were reformulated with the bottle change to be honest, but they smell the same to me.

I received my bottle of Supernova and body wash yesterday morning. It's yet another great release from ATH. I used the body wash this morning and it really does enhance the fragrance.

I have around 30-ish of his fragrances. Got to meet him at the Bois Eternal release and he really is an amazing character. For running a factory with only 6 employees who are doing everything pretty much by hand you have to give credit where its due. This isn't a big company at all; his range really does offer something for everyone while maintaining the highest quality and standards but staying true to himself. He's humble and charismatic; I plan to stay on this scentwagon a long time. US boutique hopefully sooner rather than later. Thanks for the great review, Steven. Lovely meeting you at ScentXplore!

@@biggJgrimey7 Raw cherry is kind of a cousin to Hard Candy in the range. It's a bit darker, it's strong. It's more reminiscent of Hard Candy Elixir with the Dark Chocolate and the ever present Thai Oud. I love both. I think Raw Cherry might appeal to you if you want something a bit more dense, strong but staying in the same realm as Hard Candy. Difficult to compare depending on what other choices you may have tried from ATH.

I either own or have tried every ATH fragrance and safe to say he produces fabulous products. My favourite house by a country mile. Onyx Extreme is my all time favourite fragrance.

Onyx Extreme is something really special. When I first smelt it last week it reminded me of a Nag Chumpa incense stick! BUT it evolves over time. I find it truly mesmerising now . . . . . it's an absolute masterpiece.

I’ve owned over an estimated 300 fragrances in my life times and I have never had one that sticks to your skin like ATH’s fragrances do. When I spray them I can still smell them in the AIR, 3 days after I sprayed them in my bedroom. I dare not spray them on clothes, they would probably never come off. I wonder how he is able to create such long lasting fragrances (and still affordable) while many of the other more established brands make fragrances that seem to disappear after 1-2 hours.

excellent review here. i have Haze Blue and Black so ill wait for the US restock. thanks for your candor. in Onyx Extreme ive found a rose and oud combo that i love . thanks :) ive got carbon, slut 1 and 2 {was curious on your take on the second release . reminds me of Xerjoff Erba Pura ), Onxy , Notorious, Homme, and Daddy . All long lasting and nice projection :) . one or two sprays does the work of double or triple sprays for the others in my collection too often. Scent of the day :North Bondi by Ouai.

So I got supernova like 5 days ago and unfortunately it does not perform for more than 4 hours on my skin and I don’t get apple nor pineapple all I get is a mixture of grapefruit lemon and bergamot I got bumped out so I’ll just let it macerate for a while 😢 anyone else having performance issues ?

Just a warning, it’s very easy to go noseblind to fruity fragrances. I thought Supernova turned into a skin scent after like three hours, but then someone smelled me five feet away… outside 😂

I ask my girlfriend and people around me to see if they still smell the fragrance on my skin or even I’m close and supernova is 💩 does not laugh on me and I’m not the only one that having issues with that Fragrance Hopefully Aaron does a major improvement with performance on that Fragrance

I decant all of ATHs fragrances and alot of them are very good but not totally for me. I just got supernova today and you did a great review on it. To me it smells like ATH put his signature and blending skills together and mixed Aventus Cologne Elysium Blue Moon Ginger Snap and Hacivat together and added his personal touch to it. Killer performance as usual. Im not sure it dethrones my two favorites Slut or Hard Candy/Hard Candy Extreme layered combo.

How do you test the projection and longevity? Onyx extreme becomes kind of a skin scent after 3-4 hours for me but I resprayed 2-3 times and some hours after people asked me if I bathed in perfume because it was pushing like crazy while I could barely smell it on myself. I know nose blindness is a thing but does it get this bad?

Received... When I first sprayed it I thought "that's just Neon"... 5 mins later it had changed a fair bit, and I was like "Damn that's good! That's better than Neon!" I'm a Neon fan, but I'm even more of a fan of this! I have 2 X 10 ml Neon and 2 X 10ml High Voltage, but might actually sell one of each now because this is so good I'll wear it more than either. Up until now Guapo has been my fave ATH freshie, but after a whole bottle of it smashed in my room and I could sell it for weeks, as much as I still think it's good it's also slightly nauseating, so Supernova has now become my new ATH freshie fave in an instant! It reminds me a bit of the opening of Terre d'Hermes Eau Givree, with a similar type of citrus coming through. Funnily enough I was toying with the idea of buying Eau Givree even though I already have Eau Tres Fraiche (dry down is pretty much the same) but now I don't have to! I can stick with Eau Tres Fraiche and have Supernova instead. Excellent stuff! It hasn't hit the dry down yet mind you, but half an hour in I'm loving it 👍

@@leeo24 Haze Blue was just like D&G Light Blue Forever to me, just a bit better quality. Not tried Haze Black/Extreme so can't compare with that one. But yeah I can see how it may be similar because that's a grapefruit bomb and the opening of Eau Givree smells like grapefruit to me too, so that makes sense. It definitely does have similarities to Neon too, to me anyway, but I prefer this new one. Have to say though it's definitely nowhere near as strong. Can't comment on longevity just yet but I'm finding it harder to detect than I do with Neon for example.

@@joeS163 Comparing to old Neon mate, I haven't smelled the new formulation yet. I had a full wearing of Supernova today and it is really nice (better than Neon) but doesn't perform as well as I'd hoped. Nowhere near the performance of old Neon. I sprayed it on at 7.30am and by midday I couldn't smell it all that much anymore. A little on my t-shirt but I had to sniff right on it, on skin it was barely noticeable anymore and I could mostly just smell the Carbon lotion that I'd put on under it. Guapo lasts all day on me too, so Aaron usually gets the performance spot on, but it was your average summer freshie performance with this one unfortunately. It does smell great though while it lasts.

Would anyone say that Onyx Extreme is similar to Ambre Nuit? I have two ATH summer fragrances and think they are good (but not great) I read he does darker, amber, tobacco and oud better than fresh. My next fragrance purchase was going to be Ambre Nuit but would consider Aaron’s rose. However many have said that 40 knots and Ambre nuit are one and the same. I strongly disagree. I would love to hear what your thoughts are.
