Okay, I see why that's a problem. Combining Mother Reaper, Etemon, and Shoto was definitely not what the designers intended. I think the solution is just to errata Shoto to only apply to Vortex Warriors.

I don’t actually think this is a problem. I think decks giving up slots just to make blockers lowers their consistency and the MDR deck has answers multiple colors can run to ruin that plan if it’s popular enough

I think at minimum he may need a choice restriction with Mother D. Having a 15k blocker for basically free turn 2 is just stupid.

@@RideMyAvatar yeah, the most problematic part to me is just Mother-D, since the only real counterplay is to force her to block and either be big enough to swing through her then, or have a followup big enough to swing into her. And you get her with no real investment. Though, she does make you functionally choose to forgo any other eggs which is not an inconsequential drawback...
